Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a substrate, first through third thin-film transistors (“TFTs”) disposed on the substrate, and first and second sub-pixel electrodes disposed above the first through third TFTs. The second and third TFTs share a single output terminal as their output terminals, the first sub-pixel electrode is electrically connected to an output terminal of the first TFT, and the second sub-pixel electrode is electrically connected to the single output terminal of the second and third TFTs.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes a display panel, a data driver, and a scan driver. The display panel includes first and second pixel groups, each of having two pixels. The data driver is connected to the display panel via a plurality of data lines. The scan driver is connected to the display panel via a plurality of scan lines. The first pixel group is connected to one of the data lines. The second pixel group is connected to both the data line to which the first pixel group is connected and a data line adjacent to the data line to which the first pixel group is connected.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes: first and second thin film transistors and a compensation transistor formed on a first insulation substrate; a first gray subpixel electrode connected to a drain electrode of the first thin film transistor; a second gray subpixel electrode connected to a drain electrode of the compensation transistor and a drain electrode of the second thin film transistor; and first and second reference voltage lines overlapping at least one of the second gray subpixel electrode and the first gray subpixel electrode, wherein a pixel area occupied by the first gray subpixel electrode and the second gray subpixel electrode is extended in a first direction, the first and second reference voltage lines are extended in a second direction, which is substantially perpendicular to the first direction, to overlap the pixel area, and one of the first and second reference voltage lines is connected to a source electrode of the compensation transistor.

Abstract: A display device includes: a gate line (GL); a semiconductor pattern (SP) on the GL; a data line (DL); a voltage division reference line (VDRL); and first to third switching elements (SWE) overlapping the SP.
