Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising at least 30 wt. % aromatic polycarbonate and at most 70 wt. % of polyester comprising poly(ethylene terephthalate), from 0.1-20 wt. % of an impact modifier, and from 0.05 to 1.0 wt. % of a monovalent ionomer comprising repeat units derived from ethylene, a dicarboxylic acid or derivative thereof, a monocarboxylic acid, and optionally a comonomer; based on the weight of the composition. The present invention further relates to an article comprising or consisting of such a composition.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising from 25-75 wt. % of aromatic polycarbonate comprising melt polycarbonate and from 75-25 wt. % of polyester based on the combined weight of the aromatic polycarbonate and the polyester, wherein said aromatic polycarbonate has an endcap level of at most 75 mol % and said polyester comprises polybutylene terephthalate, and wherein i) said polyester comprises a polymer miscible with poly(butylene terephthalate), said polymer having a glass transition temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of said poly(butylene terephthalate) and/or, ii) said aromatic polycarbonate comprises a polymer miscible with said melt polycarbonate, said polymer having a glass transition temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of said melt polycarbonate.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic polyester copolymer comprising 50-1000 ppm with regard to the total weight of the thermoplastic polyester copolymer of moieties derived from an alcohol having ≥3 hydroxy moieties. Such thermoplastic polyester copolymer allows for the production of high-quality foamed articles, whilst reducing the need for additives that are to be incorporated in the copolymer.
