Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a message indicating UE assistance information (UAI). In some examples, the UE may transmit a request for network assistance information (NAI) for candidate cells. The UE may receive a control message indicating the NAI and a set of candidate cells for a conditional serving cell change. The UE may perform the conditional serving cell change based on the NAI for one or more candidate cells. In some examples, the UE may select a target cell from the set of candidate cells, and the UE may receive a control message indicating one or more coverage enhancement schemes supported by the target cell. The UE may perform a random access procedure based on the one or more coverage enhancement schemes supported by the target cell.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication at an apparatus, e.g., a UE or a base station. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may transmit capability information including an indication of a discontinuous monitoring delay period. The UE may receive a message including an indication to adjust monitoring of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), and monitor for the PDCCH during the discontinuous monitoring delay period. The UE may adjust monitoring for the PDCCH following the discontinuous monitoring delay period during a temporal period based on the received indication to adjust monitoring of the PDCCH. In some examples, at least one of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception, downlink reference signal monitoring, uplink reference signal transmissions, and channel reporting is enabled during the temporal period while monitoring of the PDCCH is adjusted.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may transmit a downlink pre-emption indication (DLPI) or an uplink cancellation indication (ULCI) to a user equipment (UE) to indicate that a subset of resources of a scheduled downlink or uplink data transmission have been pre-empted or canceled. As such, the UE may either empty a buffer at the UE associated with the subset of resources or refrain from transmitting over the subset of resources based on receiving the DLPI or the ULCI, respectively. In some aspects of the present disclosure, the UE and the base station may support one or more inter-UE multiplexing schemes to increase a likelihood for the UE to receive the DLPI or the ULCI or to otherwise avoid collisions with communications between the base station and one or more other UEs.
