    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment may receive signaling that indicates one of a plurality of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configurations for demodulating a downlink data channel in a slot or subslot. The UE may receive the signaling from a network entity, such as a base station, and the network entity may select the indicated DMRS configuration. The plurality of DMRS configurations may indicate whether DMRS combining is supported across the slot or subslot and a subsequent adjacent slot or subslot, and the plurality of DMRS configurations may include a configuration that is capable of indicating to the UE that a single DMRS is configured in the slot or subslot and is to be combined with a DMRS in a subsequent adjacent slot or subslot to demodulate the downlink data channel.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a plurality of selectable physical resource block (PRB) bundle sizes. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) that does not include a PRB bundling size indicator that indicates a PRB bundle size to be selected from the plurality of selectable PRB bundle sizes. The UE may select a PRB bundle size, from the plurality of selectable PRB bundle sizes, despite the DCI not including the PRB bundling size indicator. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may filter data tones (e.g., in edge subbands of an allocated frequency band) to achieve time domain windowing or shaping. Data tones of edge subbands of a configured frequency band may be filtered to shape a waveform such that it does not extend beyond symbol boundaries (e.g., does not result in emission leakage). In some examples, the transmitter may provide an indication of subband frequency domain shaping filters used to the receiver, to support demodulation on the receiver side. In some examples, the transmitter may indicate a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) comb structure (e.g., of the edge subbands) to the receiver, and the receiver may determine or estimate the filters of the subband frequency domain shaping based on the comb structure or the indication of the filters.

In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may utilize multi-port mobility reference signals to assist with spatial based mobility procedures. The UE may receive a reference signal that is associated with multiple antenna ports. The UE may measure a multi-dimensional channel response based on the reference signal. The multi-dimensional channel response may be associated with measured channel metrics corresponding to the multiple antenna ports. The UE may transmit a report that includes a channel measurement vector based on the multi-dimensional channel response. The channel measurement vector may indicate multiple measured channel metrics for one or more dimensions of the multi-dimensional channel response. The network entity may transmit a message that indicates one or more metrics associated with mobility management for the UE based on the report that indicates the channel measurement vector.

    Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus maybe a base station or a UE. In an aspect, the apparatus may determine locations for a number of DM-RS symbols to be transmitted in a scheduling unit of a channel configured in a slot/mini-slot, where a last DM-RS symbol maybe positioned one symbol prior to a last symbol carrying scheduled data. In another aspect, the apparatus may determine the locations for the DM-RS symbols based on a selection between a first set of predetermined DM-RS positions and a second set of predetermined DM-RS positions. In another aspect, the apparatus may determine the locations for the DM-RS symbols based on a set number of symbols, wherein the determined locations are spaced apart according to the set number of symbols. The apparatus may transmit the DM-RS symbols based on the determined locations.
