Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to adding a set of redundant subcarriers to a set of data subcarriers to be transmitted in a unique-word orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (UW-OFDM) waveform, interleaving, based on a permutation matrix, the set of redundant subcarriers with the set of data subcarriers to generate a permutation of subcarriers, mapping the permutation of subcarriers as input to an inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT), and generating the UW-OFDM waveform based on output of the IFFT. Other aspects relate to receiving and processing the UW-OFDM waveform.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a synchronization signal block (SSB) transmitted using a single carrier quadrature amplitude modulation (SC-QAM) waveform, wherein the SSB has a uniform bandwidth allocation for each of a primary synchronization signal (PSS) included in the SSB, a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) included in the SSB, and physical broadcast channel (PBCH) data included in the SSB. Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, a UE monitors for sidelink resource reservations in slots belonging to a sidelink resource pool during a sensing window including one or more slots in which the UE transmits, an inclusion of the one or more slots being based on a condition for sidelink FD communication, and transmits a sidelink transmission using a resource selected from a subset of candidate sidelink resources in the sidelink resource pool after monitoring for the sidelink resource reservations. The method improves the efficiency and performance of SL communication by enabling FD operation and facilitating better resource selection and channel prioritization.
