Abstract: In some implementations, a method of wireless communication includes selecting, at a user equipment (UE), one or more control resource sets (CORESETs) from a plurality of CORESETs corresponding to the UE. At least one of the plurality of CORESETs corresponds to multiple active transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The method further includes performing a radio link monitoring (RLM) operation, a beam failure detection (BFD) operation, or both, based on one or more reference signals (RSs) corresponding to active TCI states associated with the one or more selected CORESETs.

Abstract: A configuration to enable a UE to select a new CSS set to use for monitoring for PDCCH based on changing conditions at the UE. The apparatus may receive, from a base station, a first indication of a search space for monitoring for a channel for at least one of system information, paging, or user data. A first set of monitoring occasions based on the search space indicated by the base station. The apparatus may determine a second set of monitoring occasions different than the first set of monitoring occasions based on a condition experienced by the apparatus. The apparatus may monitor for the channel based on the second set of monitoring occasions determined by the apparatus.

The indication may be valid at least until the PDCCH monitoring location, irrespective of an amount of time between receiving the indication and monitoring in the PDCCH monitoring location. Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a multi-antenna wireless user equipment (UE) calculating a covariance matrix corresponding to a covariance of signals received from each of its antennas. The UE further calculates the eigenvectors of the covariance matrix, and transmits feedback including information corresponding to the eigenvectors. Based on this information, a base station can determine to alter a number of beams for transmitting information to the UE, efficiently improving the reliability of transmission to the UE. Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for wireless communication are provided. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a DCI from a base station, the DCI including an update to a periodically-occurring scheduling, where an absolute time for the update to take effect is specified in an RRC configuration of the DCI. The UE applies the update to the periodically-occurring scheduling for communications of the UE beginning at and following the absolute time. In another aspect, the UE receives at least one downlink communication that updates a plurality of SPS or CG parameters. The UE determines an action time for the update to take effect for each parameter, where the action time is a function of a type of each parameter. The UE applies the update to each parameter for communications of the UE beginning at and following a respective action time.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) may monitor for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmissions and generate SPS hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) bits scheduled for transmission to the base station in a set of uplink symbols. However, a collision may occur during transmission if a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) carrying the SPS HARQ bits overlaps with downlink symbols. The UE may defer all SPS HARQ bits from collided PUCCHs to a next available PUCCH resource. In some examples, the UE may distribute deferred HARQ bits across multiple available PUCCH resources. The UE may distribute the deferred HARQ bits evenly across the next available PUCCH resources, or the UE may distribute the deferred HARQ bits unevenly according to a pattern. In some examples, the base station may indicate (e.g., via a downlink control information (DCI) message) a deferment pattern to the UE.
