    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) communicating over sidelink in unlicensed spectrum may perform channel congestion control based on channel busy measurements. For example, a UE may perform channel busy measurement over different resource sets to identify congestion levels from different Radio Access Technologies (RATs). The UE may perform a first channel busy measurement on a first resource set where the first resource set contains resources where sidelink UEs are configured to pause transmission and the UE may perform a second channel busy measurement on a second resource set when sidelink UEs and wireless devices of other RATs are free to contend for resources and transmit. The UE may perform third channel busy measurement on a third resource set where the third resource set contains resources with contention-based access success.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to stand-alone sidelink communication are provided. A first user equipment (UE) determines system parameter information to initiate a sidelink communication. The first UE transmits, in one or more first subbands of a plurality of subbands within a shared radio frequency during a first time period, the system parameter information. The first UE communicates, with a second UE in a second subband of the plurality of subbands during a second time period different from the first time period, sidelink data based on the system parameter information.

A method of wireless communication performed by a first user equipment (UE) may include transmitting, to a second UE in a first time period, a resource reservation indicating resources associated with at least one channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS), transmitting, to the second UE, the at least one CSI-RS in a second time period, wherein the second time period is at least K time periods after the first time period, and receiving, from the second UE, a CSI report based on the at least one CSI-RS.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating opportunistic CSI for sidelink communication are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a responding sidelink UE includes receiving, from an initiating sidelink UE, a request to provide CSI feedback to the initiating sidelink UE, the request excluding a CSI-RS. The example method also includes decoding a transmission from the initiating sidelink UE to a neighboring sidelink UE, the transmission including a CSI feedback trigger. The example method also includes transmitting, to the initiating sidelink UE, a CSI report based on the transmission.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to another UE, a sidelink channel state information reference signal (S-CSI-RS) and an indication associated with triggering a non-codebook based precoded S-CSI-RS. The UE may receive, from the other UE, the non-codebook based precoded S-CSI-RS. The UE may transmit, to the other UE, a non-codebook based channel state information (CSI) report medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) that includes an indication of one or more selected precoding beams based at least in part on the non-codebook based precoded S-CSI-RS.
