Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) communicating over sidelink in unlicensed spectrum may perform channel congestion control based on channel busy measurements. For example, a UE may perform channel busy measurement over different resource sets to identify congestion levels from different Radio Access Technologies (RATs). The UE may perform a first channel busy measurement on a first resource set where the first resource set contains resources where sidelink UEs are configured to pause transmission and the UE may perform a second channel busy measurement on a second resource set when sidelink UEs and wireless devices of other RATs are free to contend for resources and transmit. The UE may perform third channel busy measurement on a third resource set where the third resource set contains resources with contention-based access success.

The first UE communicates, with a second UE in a second subband of the plurality of subbands during a second time period different from the first time period, sidelink data based on the system parameter information.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a UE determines a sidelink resource configuration for a slot, wherein the sidelink resource configuration includes a first set of resources carrying a first PSSCH in a first mini-slot of the slot, a second set of resources carrying a second PSSCH in a second mini-slot of the slot, and a third set of resources carrying a PSFCH associated with one or more PSSCHs of one or more preceding slots. The UE may communicate data over at least a portion of the slot in accordance with the sidelink resource configuration. In some designs, a sidelink management device (e.g., the UE, another UE, or a network component) may transmit the sidelink resource configuration.

The example method also includes decoding a transmission from the initiating sidelink UE to a neighboring sidelink UE, the transmission including a CSI feedback trigger. The example method also includes transmitting, to the initiating sidelink UE, a CSI report based on the transmission.

The apparatus may be a base station in a Mode 1 resource allocation that may select, from a plurality of PSFCH resource sub-pools of a PSFCH resource pool for receiving HARQ feedback, a particular PSFCH resource sub-pool for receiving HARQ feedback associated with the particular SL transmission and transmit, to a UE, a PSRI identifying the particular PSFCH resource sub-pool.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to another UE, a sidelink channel state information reference signal (S-CSI-RS) and an indication associated with triggering a non-codebook based precoded S-CSI-RS. The UE may receive, from the other UE, the non-codebook based precoded S-CSI-RS. The UE may transmit, to the other UE, a non-codebook based channel state information (CSI) report medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) that includes an indication of one or more selected precoding beams based at least in part on the non-codebook based precoded S-CSI-RS. In an example, a first user equipment (UE) may receive a multi-opportunity grant from a network entity, the multi- opportunity grant indicating multiple listen-before-talk (LBT) opportunities for scheduling a transmission between the first UE and a second UE; perform a LBT procedure for one or more slots of a plurality of slots indicated by the multiple LBT opportunities; select a first slot of the plurality of slots corresponding to an earliest available LBT based on performing the LBT procedure; and communicate a transmission to the second UE during the transmission time interval (TTI) of the first slot.
