    Abstract: A rise action assistance device according to an aspect of the present disclosure is provided with: a myoelectric potential acquirer that acquires a myoelectric value of a sitting user's tibialis anterior muscle, and a myoelectric value of the sitting user's vastus lateralis muscle or a myoelectric value of the sitting user's vastus medialis muscle; an angle acquirer that acquires a bend angle of the sitting user's upper body; a detector circuit that detects a start of a rise action by the user, based on the myoelectric value of the user's tibialis anterior muscle, the myoelectric value of the user's vastus lateralis muscle or the myoelectric value of the user's vastus medialis muscle, and the bend angle of the user's upper body; and an assistor that starts assistance of the rise action after the start of the rise action is detected.

    Abstract: Provided is an image display system which can assuredly perform collaborative processing such as determination of a fatigue state of a viewer using three-dimensional eyeglasses and an image display apparatus, without increasing system scale, the image display system including: a transmitting and receiving unit included in a three-dimensional display TV which transmits to three-dimensional eyeglasses a specification-designating signal designating a specification which at least includes a data format for a communication signal; a transmitting and receiving unit included in the three-dimensional eyeglasses which receives the specification-designating signal transmitted from the three-dimensional display TV and, according to the specification designated by the received specification-designating signal, converts a biometric signal acquired by a biometric signal sensor into the communication signal, and transmits the communication signal to the three-dimensional display TV.

    Abstract: A wrist-worn input device measuring a biopotential for use in gesture inputting, includes a band that forms at least part of a tubular structure having a first opening and a second opening at the two ends thereof in an axial direction thereof, an electrode open to an internal surface of the band, a position determination unit disposed close to the first opening and having a shape to be engaged with at least part of a periphery of the styloid process of ulna of a user, a biopotential measurement unit that measures the biopotential of the user using the electrode, and a measured potential transmitter that outputs the biopotential of the user. The electrode includes a measurement electrode. The measurement electrode is located at a center point between the first opening and the second opening along the axial direction or located at a point closer to the second opening than to the center point along the axial direction.
