Abstract: An endoscope and a treatment instrument of the present invention include: an insertion portion that can be inserted into a subject; an electrodeposition portion provided on a surface of the insertion portion and configured to electrodeposit a lubricant applied to an outer surface; and a connection portion configured to connect the electrodeposition portion to one of a direct current power source and a static electricity generation apparatus in a state that the insertion portion is inserted into the subject.
