A first device receives from a second device configuration information concerning at least one candidate beam for serving the first device. Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to reporting preconfigured up-link transmission failure. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal device logs failures associated with transmission on the preconfigured resources and failure causes. The terminal device transmits the logged information to the network device. In this way, the network device is aware of the failure occurrences and their reasons. The network device is able to use the information for configuring uplink resources more efficiently and the resources can be efficiently allocated for other purpose or other terminal devices.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to mechanism for sharing HARQ processes by multiple configured grant resources. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, multiple configured grant resources share a common pool of HARQ processes. The network device transmits information concerning the multiple configured grants resources and the common pool HARQ process to the terminal device. Further, for one of the multiple configured grant resources, the terminal device selects a HARQ process from the common pool of HARQ processes. In this way, the throughput has improved and the low latency for high priority data is ensured.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to mechanism for first random access mode falling back to second random access mode. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the fallback to second random access mode is indicated in messageB and the user equipment only needs to monitor the messageB for the quick mode on the downlink control signal which is addressed to an identifier. The user equipment does not need to monitor the downlink control channel for the second random access mode. In this way, the user equipment is allowed to fall back to the second random access mode without further retry of the quick node, thereby reducing overload and latency.
