Abstract: A technique includes receiving, by a user device, a configuration of a set of one or more resources for an uplink channel to be used for transmission by the user device in a slot prior to a short physical uplink control channel of the slot; receiving, by the user device, a downlink control information including a downlink assignment for a downlink channel; identifying, by the user device based on the downlink assignment, a resource of the set of one or more resources for the uplink channel, and a physical uplink control channel; and transmitting, by the user device, a signal via the identified resource for the uplink channel, prior to the short physical uplink control channel of the slot.

Abstract: In an example, there is provided an apparatus configured to store a bandwidth part arrangement of the bandwidth part (301, 305, 307) into plural physical resource blocks which are grouped into bundles forming a bundle grid (330-370), the bandwidth part (301, 305, 307) comprising at least one guard band (320), determine at least one of the bundles as partially overlapping with the at least one guard band (320), each partially overlapping bundle comprising overlapping and non-overlapping physical resource blocks, and to at least one of: 1) re-assign at least one of the non-overlapping physical resource blocks to a non-overlapping bundle immediately preceding or immediately following, in the bundle grid (330-370), the partially overlapping bundle, 2) re-align a first physical resource block of the non-overlapping bundle immediately following the partially overlapped bundle to coincide with a guard band end, and 3) re-align a last physical resource block of the non-overlapping bundle immediately preceding the partially overlapped bundle to coincide with a guard band (320) start.

Abstract: In accordance with example embodiments of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform receiving, by a network device, information comprising a multiple transmission time interval uplink grant with cyclic redundancy check bits scrambled by a radio network temporary identifier; determining, by the network device of a communication network, a subset of data transmissions of a previous burst of data transmissions to be retransmitted by the network device; and performing by the network device retransmission of the subset of data transmissions using scheduled resources of the uplink grant. In addition, to perform determining, by a network node of a communication network, information comprising a multiple transmission time interval uplink grant with cyclic redundancy check bits scrambled by a radio network temporary identifier to identify a subset of data transmissions of a previous burst of data transmissions to be retransmitted by a network device; and sending the information towards the network device for use in retransmission of the subset of data transmissions using scheduled resources of the uplink grant.

Abstract: Multiplexing of information may be useful in a variety of communication scenarios, such as communication of control information. For example, certain wireless communication systems may benefit from uplink control information multiplexing for downlink two orthogonal frequency division multiplexed symbol short transmission time interval and one millisecond transmission time interval. A method can include receiving, at a user equipment, a downlink assignment scheduling first downlink data transmission in a first transmission time interval duration. The method can also include determining when to provide acknowledgment feedback in an uplink corresponding to the scheduled downlink data transmission. The determination can take into account whether the user equipment is scheduled for downlink data transmission in a second transmission time interval duration. The second transmission time interval duration can be shorter than the first transmission time interval duration.
