    Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, a method comprising: receiving from a network node, by a user equipment of a plurality of user equipment associated with more than one communication beam of a communication network, information comprising locations in time of the user equipment during paging occasions with at least one cell of the communication network associated over more than one communication beam, wherein the information identifies any provided order of the more than one communication beam covering the locations in time of the user equipment during the paging occasions; and based on the information, identifying by the user equipment at least one communication beam and timing of at least one paging occasion, of the paging occasions, for the user equipment.

    Abstract: A method comprising securing orientation of a first type of an antenna and a second type of an antenna, wherein the first type of an antenna and the second type of an antenna are comprised in a terminal device, determining if the terminal device is radio resource control connected to a cell provided by an access node comprised, at least partly, in a satellite or relayed through the satellite, and if it is, estimating a link loss based, at least partly, on downlink receive measurements obtained using the first type of an antenna, determining an uplink link budget based on the estimated link loss, determining if the uplink link budget is greater than a threshold for a transmit antenna, wherein the transmit antenna is the first type of the antenna or the second type of an antenna, and attempting a transmission to the access node using the transmit antenna if the uplink link budget is greater than the threshold for the transmission antenna.

    Abstract: There is provided aligning timing of Multiple Input Multiple Output, MIMO, transmissions. A method comprises measuring delays between a calibration signal fed to an antenna port via an RF frontend transmission path of a MIMO transceiver comprising a plurality of antenna ports connected to RF frontend transmission paths and the calibration signal received at one or more other antenna ports of the MIMO transceiver, wherein the calibration signal is fed to each of the antenna ports at a time for measuring at least one delay according to a measurement set. On the basis of the measured delays, one or more delay configurations for baseband signals fed to the RF frontend transmission paths for aligning timing of transmissions across the antenna ports are determined.
