    Abstract: A bandwidth allocation device is included in a communication system having a terminal station device and a terminal device and relaying upstream data, which is received from a communication terminal by a lower device connected to the terminal device, to an upper device connected to the terminal station device. The bandwidth allocation device includes a transmission-permitted period start position determining unit configured to estimate a start position of an arrival period in which the upstream data arrives at the terminal device from the lower device; a transmission-permitted period length determining unit configured to estimate a length of the arrival period based on an amount of upstream data to be transmitted from the lower device to the terminal device; and a bandwidth allocation unit configured to allocate a bandwidth to the terminal device based on the estimated start position and the estimated length of the arrival period.

    Abstract: Information on allocation of a bandwidth of uplink communication of each of user devices is extracted from information notified from an upper-level device on the uplink communication of the user devices. Correspondence information is created to indicate a correspondence among the upper-level device, the terminal device, the lower-level device, and the user device. A start time point of the uplink communication of the terminal device and an information amount of signals for which transmission of the uplink communication of the terminal device is allowed are allocated to the terminal device on the basis of the information on allocation of the bandwidth of the uplink communication of each of the user devices and the correspondence information.

    Abstract: A signal transfer control device acquires first schedule information in which a signal transfer device that finally transfers a signal to an intermediate node in a first network transfers a signal, and acquires, for each signal transferred from the first network, processing time information required for the intermediate node to transfer the signal to a second network.
