Abstract: An in-vehicle complex biometric authentication system includes: a sensor to sense a driver's boarding of a vehicle; a controller to perform driver authentication based on biometric information sensed by multiple biometric sensors when driver's boarding in a vehicle is detected by the sensor, and to collect driver's identification information and driving habit information during operation of a vehicle when the driver authentication is succeeded; and a memory to store the identification information and driving habit information as implicit authentication information, wherein the controller further detects situation recognition information related to the implicit authentication information, after the driver authentication is succeeded, and determines whether to perform additional authentications based on the matching result of the detected situation recognition information with the implicit authentication information. According the present invention, the system can provide a biometric authentication system to which the IOT is applied.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention provides an artificial intelligence (AI) robot for determining a cleaning route using sensor data, comprising: a sensor unit including at least one of an image sensor, a depth sensor or a shock sensor; a cleaning unit including at least one of a suction unit or a mopping unit; a driving unit configured to drive the AI robot; and a processor configured to: acquire the sensor data from the sensor unit, determine a complex area using the acquired sensor data, create a virtual wall for blocking an entry into the determined complex area, determine the cleaning route in consideration of the created virtual wall, and control the cleaning unit and the driving unit based on the determined cleaning route.

Abstract: An electronic device according to an embodiment includes a first biometric sensor to detect first biometric information, a second biometric sensor to detect second biometric information, a security module to normalize a first decision score for the first biometric information and a second decision score for the second biometric information, generate a decision function model for combined matching of the normalized first and second decision scores, set a threshold score corresponding to a sensitivity level in the decision function model, and perform user authentication for the first and second biometric information based on the decision function model to which the threshold score is applied, and a controller configured to control an operation of the electronic device based on a result of the user authentication performed by the security module. According to the present invention, the electronic device may perform user authentication by an Internet of Things (IoT).

Abstract: The electronic device includes: a sensor unit configured to detect biometric information, a security module to extract a genuine score from the detected biometric information and generate a biometric authentication model, and perform user authentication based on feature points acquired from the detected biometric information and the biometric authentication, and a controller to control an operation of the electronic device based on a result of the user authentication, wherein the security module determines whether or not the biometric information used for the user authentication is biometric information acquired from a genuine user when the user authentication fails, and updates the biometric authentication model based on the genuine score extracted from the acquired biometric information. The present invention may provide an electronic device performing complex biometric authentication by using TOT (Internet of Things).
