    摘要: A process of using solutions containing thiosulfate and/or chloride salt reagents to remove SO3 and H2SO4 acid gases from a flue gas. The solution is injected into a moving volume of flue gas to achieve a droplet size that enables the solution to dry on contact with the flue gas, generating dried particles of the reagent that react with the SO3 and H2SO4 acid gases yielding a salt precipitate. SO2 present in the flue gas may also be absorbed with the solution, with a subsequent reaction yielding bisulfite species that, upon drying of the droplet, react with the SO3 and H2SO4 acid gases to form salts that are removed from the gas. The removal of these acid gases from a flue gas reduce corrosion of equipment used in coal or oil fired power plants downstream of the injection cite.

    摘要: A portable mixing apparatus has a carriage assembly with at least a platform section and an upwardly extending handle section connected thereto, and the mixing apparatus can be manually moved. At least two roller assemblies having roller members therein are mounted on the platform section in predetermined spaced relation to each other for operative association with a bearing assembly which is preferably mounted for limited linear floating movement in the handle section, and with the outer surface of a mixing bowl to be mounted on said roller members. An axle extends from the closed end of the mixing bowl and when the mixing bowl is mounted in the roller members the axle will be aligned with and can be detachably connected in the bearing assembly so that the axis of rotation of the mixing bowl is substantially parallel to the plane of the platform. At least one roller member is disposed in driving engagement with said outer surface of the mixing bowl generally adjacent the closed end, and a drive assembly mounted on the mixing apparatus has a driving motor on the underside of the platform section which is connected to the driving roller member so as to provide a desired optimum speed of rotation for the mixing bowl.Additionally, the above described portable mixing apparatus may have wheels connected to the platform section, and front and rear legs in operative association with the platform section, to permit the mixing apparatus to be pivoted about the axis of the wheels for discharging mixed material from the open end of the mixing bowl.

    摘要: A connector for a disk drive unit includes a base, a curve portion, a tab, a support, a hook, and a first spring arm. The base has a left portion, a right portion, a bottom portion, and a top portion. The curve portion extends from a back of the top portion of the base. The tab is adapted to be inserted into a retention opening of a static wall of a server. The support extends substantially horizontally from an opposite end of the curve portion, and is adapted to flex up and down when the tab is inserted into the retention opening of the static wall of the server. The hook is physically connected between the support and the tab, and is adapted to flex the support when the hook pressed into contact with a top of the retention opening, and to snap fit around the top of the retention opening when the connector is completely inserted into the retention opening. The first spring arm extends toward a center and in front of the base, and is adapted to apply a force to the static wall when the hook is snap fitted around the top of the retention opening to secure the disk drive unit within the server.

    摘要: The method is used for producing measuring values depending on the linear density of a fiber sliver transported through a measuring funnel. A measuring signal transmitted from the measuring funnel is transformed into a proportional electric voltage signal and is continually integrated. The apparatus comprises a measuring funnel connected pneumatically with a pneumatic/electric transducer which transmits a signal to an integration circuit means. A control logic which cooperates with a gear of the transmission of the spinning preparatory machine is connected with the integrating circuit means via a proximity initiator which transmits an impulse to the control logic at each passage of a tooth. The integrating circuit means supplies measuring values suitable as a control signal for spinning preparatory machines, which signal is independent of the speed of the fiber sliver.
