    Abstract: The present invention provides a light emitting apparatus comprising a three-color light emitting device unit including at least three light emitting diode (LED) chips for respectively emitting red, green and blue light; a white light emitting device unit including at least one blue LED chip with a fluorescent substance formed thereon; and a substrate provided with a first electrode connected in common to ends of the LED chips and second electrodes formed to correspond respectively to the LED chips. Further, the present invention provides a light emitting apparatus comprising a plurality of LED chips; a substrate provided with a first electrode connected in common to ends of the plurality of LED chips and second electrodes formed to correspond respectively to the plurality of LED chips; an upper package formed on the substrate to surround the plurality of LED chips and to have a partition crossing the first electrode at the center of the upper package; and a molding member that encapsulates the plurality of LED chips and is divided by the partition of the upper package.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for encoding messages with space-time trellis codes(STTC) and transmitting the encoded messages in communication system provided with at least two transmit antennas and at least one receive antenna. The method comprising generating a codeword by encoding message using STTC; generating a modified codeword by multiplying the codeword by unitary matrix V; and multiplying the modified codeword by weighting matrix W, and then transmitting it through transmit antennas. The weighting matrix W is determined depending on channel information fed back to the transmit antenna from the receive antenna. The unitary matrix V is the value that minimizes the union bound of frame error rate, and is chosen by computer search. Result of a simulation using the method shows that the performance of the STTC is improved over a wide range of feedback channel condition.

    Abstract: A supercharger for an internal combustion, diesel engine includes a clutch disc for engaging or disengaging the flywheel of the engine for transmitting power to the transmission and wheels of a vehicle in which the engine is mounted. A blower assembly for the supercharger is fixedly connected to the clutch disc for rotation in unison therewith. The blower includes a cover secured to the clutch disc and a plurality of impeller vanes disposed about its periphery. In operation, when the clutch disc is engaged with the flywheel of the engine, the blower of the supercharger rotates in unison with the clutch plate to draw in air and supply compressed air to the engine to perform the supercharging functions. However, during idling, when the clutch is disengaged, the supercharger blower does not rotate thereby minimizing fuel consumption.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method of performing inter-cell interference coordination in a heterogeneous network. The apparatus includes a reception unit, a determination unit, a generation unit, and a transmission unit. The reception unit receives a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) level from a small cell base station in each frame. The determination unit determines a calculated MCS level based on the MCS level and an interfering signal estimated through probabilistic modeling. The generation unit generates a ratio of subframes, in which data will not be transmitted, to all subframes of a frame based on the MCS level and the calculated MCS level. The transmission unit transmits the ratio and the calculated MCS level to the small cell base station.
