    Abstract: A channel sounding method and a channel sounding apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: A first communication apparatus sends a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame, and sends a null data packet (NDP); and a second communication apparatus and a third communication apparatus receive the NDPA frame and the NDP. The NDPA frame includes first indication information, where the first indication information indicates that the NDPA frame is for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing multiple access (OFDMA) and non-OFDMA hybrid channel sounding, a total bandwidth of the NDP is a first bandwidth, a portion of the NDP in the first bandwidth is used by the second communication apparatus to obtain channel state information between the second and the first communication apparatus, a portion of the NDP in a second bandwidth is used by the third communication apparatus to obtain channel state information between the third communication apparatus and the first communication apparatus, the second bandwidth is a part of the first bandwidth, and the first bandwidth is greater than 80 MHz.

    Abstract: An access point, AP, is provided, configured to perform coordinated beamforming with at least one further AP. The AP is configured to communicate via one or more first spatial streams of a plurality of spatial streams with one or more first non-AP stations and the further AP is configured to communicate via one or more second spatial streams of the plurality of spatial streams with one or more second non-AP stations.     Abstract: The present disclosure relates to Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) in wireless communication technologies, particularly HARQ for IEEE 802.11, i.e. HARQ for Wi-Fi. One example transmitting device is configured to encapsulate a data unit in a container unit, and encode the container unit into a codeword set of one or more codewords. One example receiving device is configured to receive, from a transmitting device, at least one codeword set of one or more codewords, decode the codewords of the codeword set to obtain a container unit, and decapsulate the container unit to obtain a data unit. A bit-size of the container unit is equal to a bit-size of the codeword set in the transmitting device and the receiving device.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to HARQ, particularly for IEEE 802.11, i.e. Wi-Fi. The invention proposes a transmitting device for supporting such HARQ, in which the order of scrambling and encoding is changed compared to the conventional transmitter. Likewise the invention proposes a receiving device for supporting such HARQ, in which the order of descrambling and decoding is changed compared to the conventional receiver. In particular, the transmitting device is configured to encode at least one data unit using Forward Error Correction (FEC) coding, scramble the encoded data unit based on a scrambling seed, provide an indication of the scrambling seed that is separate from the scrambled and encoded data unit, and transmit the indication of the scrambling seed and then the scrambled and encoded data unit to a receiving device.

    Abstract: The method includes: receiving, by a second transmit end, policy information sent by a first transmit end, where the second transmit end belongs to a second BSS, the first transmit end is a transmit end that is in a first basis service set and that transmits data by using a first link, and the policy information is used to indicate a condition that the second transmit end needs to satisfy to transmit data by using a second link, or used to indicate whether the second transmit end is allowed to transmit data by using a second link; and determining, by the second transmit end based on the policy information, whether to transmit data by using the second link. According to the wireless communication method, a spatial reuse transmission policy can be adjusted dynamically based on an actual situation of a current network. This improves a system throughput.
