Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a bandwidth adjustment method and a related device, configured to adjust a bandwidth of a first payload subarea included in a transmission frame flexibly. The method of embodiments of this application includes the following steps: First, determine the first payload subarea and a second payload subarea from a payload area of the transmission frame; second, determine that a bandwidth of at least one service does not match a bandwidth of the first payload subarea; finally, adjust the bandwidth of the first payload subarea, where an adjusted bandwidth of the first payload subarea matches the bandwidth of the at least one service.

Abstract: A service data processing method and apparatus is disclosed. A data frame is divided into code blocks with smaller granularity, and service data is mapped to a corresponding quantity of code blocks in the data frame based on a service requirement. In addition, the data frame is used to indicate a location of a code block carrying the service data. In one manner, a code block in a payload area of the data frame is divided into a data code block and an overhead code block, and the overhead code block is used to indicate a location of a data code block carrying the service data. In the another manner, an indication field is configured in an overhead area of the data frame to indicate a location of a code block that carries the service data and that is in the payload area of the data frame.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a service processing method and apparatus. According to the service processing method, a number of code blocks of a client service may be mapped to a FlexE subslot, and a FlexE subslot overhead is generated, so that the client service mapped to the FlexE subslot and the FlexE subslot overhead are sent through a physical channel, and a low-rate service is carried. Compared with carrying a low-rate service by directly using an entire FlexE slot, carrying the client service by using a number of FlexE subslots into which the FlexE slot is divided can improve bandwidth utilization.

Abstract: In a service signal processing method, an optical network unit (ONU) receives a service signal; maps the service signal to a flexible optical service unit frame; and sends a first passive optical network transmission convergence frame to an optical line terminal (OLT), where the flexible optical service unit frame is encapsulated in the first passive optical network transmission convergence frame, and where the flexible optical service unit frame is used to carry the service signal in a passive optical network (PON) and an optical transport network (OTN). In this application, the flexible optical service unit frame can be transmitted in both the PON and the OTN, and the ONU and the OLT do not need to parse the service signal.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a service transmission method, a network device, and a network system. The method includes: obtaining, by a first network device, a client service of FlexE, and obtaining clock information corresponding to the client service; mapping, by the first network device, the client service and the clock information to a timeslot of a FlexE frame, where the client service and the clock information occupy a same timeslot and/or different timeslots; and sending, by the first network device, the FlexE frame to a second network device. Therefore, service clock information can be transparently transmitted in flexible Ethernet by using the method of the present invention.

Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method in an optical network and an optical network device. The method includes: obtaining, by a first device, first synchronization information from a first service data stream, and determining a to-be-transmitted service data stream; generating second synchronization information based on the first synchronization information; mapping the second synchronization information and the to-be-transmitted service data stream to an optical carrier container; and sending the optical carrier container. A second device receives the optical carrier container; obtains a second service data stream and third synchronization information from the optical carrier container through demapping; generates fourth synchronization information based on the third synchronization information; and inserts the fourth synchronization information into the second service data stream, to obtain a third service data stream. In this way, time synchronization precision is improved.
