    Abstract: A communication method that includes: a terminal transmits data for a first application in a first communications system via a first protocol data unit (PDU) session, where the first PDU session does not support interworking between the first communications system and a second communications system. The terminal moves from the first communications system to the second communications system. After the terminal moves from the second communications system back to the first communications system, the terminal obtains a second PDU session based on at least first transmission information of the first application, and transmits data for the first application in the first communications system via the second PDU session, where the first transmission information includes an identifier of the first application.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a transmission path switching method and apparatus. When a transmission path is switched, a currently used data transmission path is not directly switched from a first transmission path to a second transmission path after the second transmission path is configured, but after it is further determined that a first condition is met, the currently used data transmission path is switched from the first transmission path to the second transmission path, to avoid data interruption in a process of switching a data transmission path of an application from the first transmission path to the second transmission path. This improves use smoothness of the application.

    Abstract: This application discloses a PDU session establishment method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device in a process of establishing a PDN connection in a first system, an access type that is sent by a core network device and that corresponds to the PDN connection in a second system; and when the terminal device moves to the second system, establishing, by the terminal device, a PDU session in the second system via an access network indicated by the access type, where the PDU session is associated with the PDN connection. Implementation of the present invention can increase a success rate of establishing a PDU session.

    Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: First user equipment receives from second user equipment first request information requesting the first user equipment to receive information from a second network for paging the second user equipment. In response to receiving the information, the first user equipment sends, to the second user equipment, information indicating the second user equipment to respond to paging of the second network. The second user equipment responds to the paging of the second network. In embodiments of this application, the first user equipment indicates the second user equipment to respond to the paging, so that the second user equipment does not monitor paging information all the time, thereby ensuring that the second user equipment does not miss the paging, reducing energy consumption of the second user equipment, and prolonging standby duration of the second user equipment.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a call method, an electronic device, a network device, and a system. The system includes a first electronic device and a second electronic device. A first connection is set up between the first electronic device and the second electronic device, the first electronic device is configured with a subscriber identity module (SIM) card having a first number, and the second electronic device is configured with a SIM card having a second number.
