Abstract: This application provides a power control parameter determining method and an apparatus, to simplify a beam indication process and a power control parameter indication process, and reduce signaling overheads. The method and apparatus may be applied to a 5G communication system and a future communication system. The method includes: A terminal device receives, from a network device, first signaling that includes a first value of a DCI field, where the first value indicates a first TCI state in at least one activated TCI state; and obtains, based on a mapping relationship, a power control parameter set corresponding to the first TCI state. The mapping relationship includes a mapping relationship between an identifier of at least one mapping parameter subset and at least one value of the DCI field, or a mapping relationship between an identifier of at least one mapping parameter subset and the at least one activated TCI state.

Abstract: A power headroom reporting method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: A terminal determines a power headroom based on a maximum transmit power of the terminal and a sum of expected transmit powers respectively corresponding to at least two antenna panels or transmission beams in the terminal. The terminal sends indication information of the power headroom to a network device. According to the method and the apparatus, in a scenario in which the terminal performs uplink transmission by using a plurality of antenna panels, each antenna panel corresponds to one transmission beam, so that the terminal can accurately report the power headroom, thereby facilitating subsequent uplink transmission scheduling and power control performed by a base station, and improving performance of the uplink transmission performed based on the plurality of antenna panels.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method, a network device, and a terminal. When the method is performed by the terminal, the method includes: obtaining, a time-frequency resource used to transmit uplink data, where the time-frequency resource is at least one time-frequency resource block selected from a plurality of time-frequency resource blocks; each of the time-frequency resource blocks is corresponding to one piece of configuration information; and transmitting, the uplink data on the at least one selected time-frequency resource block based on configuration information of the at least one selected time-frequency resource block. The terminal may select a relatively narrow bandwidth to perform uplink transmission, to increase a transmit power of the terminal. In addition, the terminal performs the uplink transmission based on the corresponding configuration information, to further increase a transmit power. The network device perform demodulation, to improve demodulation efficiency and avoid generating a processing latency.

Abstract: This application provides a resource measurement method and an apparatus. A terminal receives measurement configuration information including N resource sets, and determines, based on a value of N, to send a first measurement result or a second measurement result to a network device. Specifically, the terminal sends the first measurement result to the network device when N>1, where the first measurement result is used to indicate m resources, downlink signals corresponding to the m resources can be simultaneously received by the terminal, and the m resources are in a one-to-one correspondence with m resource sets in the N resource sets. The terminal sends the second measurement result to the network device when N=1.
