The present disclosure relates to a notification method. In one example method, a first base station configures a first cell identity for a first cell. The first cell identity comprises a first identifier field and a second identifier field. A reserved bit in the second identifier field and the first identifier field identify the first base station. A remaining bit in the second identifier field identifies the first cell. The first base station notifies a second base station or a core network device of a part of the first cell identity that identifies the first base station.

A map update method and apparatus, and a map-based driving decision-making method and apparatus are provided and applied to a vehicle. The map update method includes: obtaining tile update information of a map, where the tile update information indicates a changed tile of the map; determining a to-be-updated tile based on a pinpointed location of the vehicle, a navigation path of the vehicle, and the tile update information, where the to-be-updated tile is a part of tiles in the changed tile; downloading the to-be-updated tile from a server; updating the map based on the downloaded to-be-updated tile; and performing driving decision-making based on the updated map.

The present invention relates to the field of communication technology, and a de-registration method, a Home NodeB (HNB) and a Home NodeB Gateway (HNB GW) are disclosed. In an embodiment, the present invention provides a de-registration method, comprising: initiating, by an HNB GW, release of pre-registration resources corresponding to user equipment (UE) after the HNB GW receives indication information indicating that the UE moves to another cell from a source HNB. Applying the embodiment of the present invention can release pre-registration resources in time and reduce waste of resources.

The present invention discloses a method for creating bearer and apparatus. The method includes: receiving a bearer creation request message sent from a home base station (HNB) or a home base station gateway (HNB GW) and used to request creation of a bearer; and according to the bearer creation request message, instructing the one of the HNB and the HNB GW to create a bearer with a local gateway (LGW). The method for creating bearer and apparatus can implement creation of a bearer between the one of the HNB and the HNB GW and the LGW, and prevent the user equipment (UE) from generating signaling exchanged with a core network in some scenarios, thereby saving signaling overhead and improving user experience.

The present invention discloses a method and system for allocating Network Temporary Identities. The method comprises: obtaining capability information of a Home NodeB; allocating information for performing identity allocation to the Home NodeB, according to the capability information; sending the allocated information for performing identity allocation to the Home NodeB, so that the Home NodeB implements network temporary identity allocation according to the information for performing identity allocation; wherein the different information for performing identity allocation corresponds to different Home NodeBs to implement the network temporary identity allocation. The technical solution disclosed by the present invention can reduce the implementation complexity of Home NodeB Gateway and the time delay.
