    Abstract: This application provides a signal sending method, a signal receiving method, and an apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device on a first carrier, a narrowband primary synchronization signal (NPSS) sent by a network device according to a first period and a narrowband secondary synchronization signal (NSSS) sent by the network device according to a second period; receiving, by the terminal device on a second carrier, a narrowband physical broadcast channel (NPBCH) sent by the network device according to a third period and a system information block 1-narrowband (SIB1-NB) sent by the network device according to a fourth period; and completing, by the terminal device, downlink synchronization and obtaining system information based on the NPSS, the NSSS, the NPBCH, and the SIB1-NB.

    Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention discloses a signal sending method, a signal receiving method, a terminal device, a base station, and a system, to ensure that a signal has a sufficiently large capacity when a PAPR is low, and reduce power consumption of the terminal device. The method in embodiments of the present invention includes: generating, by the terminal device, a first signal; performing, by the terminal device, code division processing on the first signal using a target code division sequence selected from a code division sequence set, to generate a second signal, where any two code division sequences in the code division sequence set meet orthogonality and shift orthogonality; and sending, by the terminal device, the second signal to the base station at a corresponding time-frequency resource location.

    Abstract: This application provides a multicast service implementation method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a first network device, a first unicast join message sent by a second network device, where the first unicast join message is used to request to join a multicast group, a source address of the first unicast join message is an address of the second network device, and a destination address of the first unicast join message is a multicast source address or a rendezvous point (RP) address; and establishing, by the first network device, a tunnel from the first network device to the second network device based on the first unicast join message. The multicast service implementation method and apparatus in embodiments of this application help improve availability of a multicast service.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to SFN indication methods, terminal devices, and positioning servers and systems. One example method includes obtaining an SFN offset indication parameter of a cell i, sending the SFN offset indication parameter of the cell i to a terminal device, receiving the SFN offset indication parameter of the cell i from the positioning server, obtaining a frame number of a radio frame n of a cell j, and determining a phase rotation parameter of the cell i based on the frame number of the radio frame n of the cell j and the SFN offset indication parameter of the cell i, or obtaining a sequence initialization factor used by a narrowband positioning reference signal (NPRS) on a radio frame m of the cell i, and obtaining the NPRS on the radio frame m of the cell i based on the sequence initialization factor.
