Abstract: A method for indicating TXOP duration in a wireless communication system, comprising: generating, by a TXOP holder, a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), the High Efficiency Signal field A (HE-SIGA) in the PPDU carries a TXOP duration field, wherein the TXOP duration field is used to indicate the remaining time for using the channel by the station to other stations; wherein the TXOP duration field includes a first part which is used to indicate the granularity used, and a second part which is used to indicate the TXOP duration using the granularity indicated by the first part; so as that different granularities are able to be used to indicate different TXOP duration in the system; sending, the generated PPDU.

Abstract: Methods and devices for grant-free uplink transmission in unlicensed spectrum are provided. A base station (BS) transmits grant-free resource configuration information to one or more electronic devices (EDs). The grant-free resource configuration information is used to configure the ED for GF uplink transmission in unlicensed spectrum. The GF resource configuration information includes GF ED group-specific resource configuration information indicating GF ED group-specific time-frequency (T/F) resources of the unlicensed spectrum for GF uplink transmission. The ED(s) transmit grant-free uplink transmissions over the unlicensed spectrum in accordance with the GF resource configuration information.

Abstract: A tracking reference signal (TRS) burst transmission method and apparatus wherein a transmit end determines to send a first TRS burst in the first slot in a maximum channel occupancy time (MCOT), that is, the TRS burst is sent at a start moment of the MCOT, so that a receive end can obtain precise time-frequency synchronization as soon as possible. In addition, when a length of a first MCOT is greater than Y slots, in addition to sending the first TRS burst in the first slot in the MCOT, it is further determined to send a second TRS burst in a slot that is in the first MCOT and whose distance to a start slot of a previous TRS burst is Y slots, to improve effectiveness of the time-frequency synchronization and further improve the reliability of receiving the data at the receive end.

Abstract: Wireless communication between a user equipment (UE) and a base station may occur on unlicensed spectrum. When wirelessly communicating on unlicensed spectrum, there is an expectation that there may be interference from others devices also transmitting on the same resources in the unlicensed spectrum. Systems and methods are therefore disclosed that aim to facilitate wireless communication in unlicensed spectrum. In some embodiments, systems and method are disclosed that are primarily directed to the uplink transmission of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback corresponding to a downlink data transmission, and the downlink data transmission and the HARQ feedback are both sent on unlicensed spectrum.

Abstract: A method includes generating a preamble for a protocol version of a wireless local area network, where the preamble includes a legacy signal (L-SIG) field and a high efficiency signal (HE-SIG) field that are arranged in order, the HE-SIG field includes a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and a second OFDM symbol that are arranged in order, and an input information bit of the first OFDM symbol is the same as that of the second OFDM symbol, and sending the preamble to a receive end device, so that the receive end device restores the preamble, and when determining that input information bits obtained after restoring the first OFDM symbol and the second OFDM symbol are the same, determines that the preamble is the preamble of the protocol version.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for indicating a channel in a wireless local area network WLAN. A sending station generates and sends a physical protocol data unit PPDU, the PPDU includes a preamble field and a data field, a high efficiency signal field HE-SIG-A of the preamble field includes a bandwidth identifier and a channel bonding identifier, and the channel bonding identifier is used to indicate whether a data transmission channel is continuous in a frequency domain. In the foregoing manner, a discontinuous channel in a frequency domain in a wireless local area network is indicated, an available channel for data transmission is improved, and a system throughput is increased.

The method also includes sending, by the AP, the signaling.

Abstract: An OFDMA subframe carrying different data fields in different time segments may include a separate short training field (STF), and a separate set of long training fields (LTFs), for each of the data fields to accommodate time-reuse scheduling. Communicating a separate STF for each data field may allow receivers to re-adjust automatic gain control (AGC) when the data fields carry different numbers of space-time-streams. Likewise, communicating separate sets of LTFs for each data field may allow different beamforming parameters to be applied to different data fields.
