Abstract: A packet sending method includes determining, that a multipath connection meets a first condition, where the first condition is used to disable a small packet sending control policy used for the multipath connection, the small packet sending control policy is used to control a time interval at which the sender sends small packets using the multipath connection, and a length of data included in the small packet is less than a maximum segment size (MSS), disabling, by the sender, the small packet sending control policy, and sending, by the sender, a plurality of small packets on a plurality of paths of the multipath connection in a redundant transmission mode after disabling the small packet sending control policy.

Abstract: A packet transmission method and related apparatus are disclosed. A transmit end retransmits a first packet to a receive end and decreases a congestion window and a slow start threshold upon determining that the first packet has been lost. The receive end sends an ACK in response to the retransmitted first packet to the transmit end on receipt of the retransmitted first packet for the first time, where the ACK contains a proactively constructed DSACK option for informing the transmit end that the first packet has been received repeatedly. The transmit end therefore compensates the congestion window and/or the slow start threshold.

Abstract: A packet switched (PS) service identification method and a terminal, where a weight of at least one socket corresponding to a PS service is determined, a key socket is determined from the at least one socket according to the weight of the at least one socket, and an identifier of the key socket is sent to a network side such that the network side formulates a policy and charging control (PCC) rule according to the 5-tuple. In this PS service identification process, because the terminal does not encrypt the PS service, the terminal can accurately identify the PS service.

Abstract: A data packet processing method and a related device are provided. The data packet processing method includes receiving, by a modem of a mobile terminal, an Internet Protocol IP data packet from a network; determining an online status of a data service of the mobile terminal; and processing, by the modem, the IP data packet according to a transfer protocol type of the IP data packet if it is determined that the data service of the mobile terminal is not in an online state, where the modem does not forward the IP data packet to an application processor of the mobile terminal if it is determined that the data service of the mobile terminal is not in the online state. Technical solutions provided in embodiments of the present disclosure help reduce standby power consumption of a mobile terminal, thereby improving product experience of users.
