Abstract: A communication method and a communications device are disclosed. A first device in a communications system separately sends, to a second device, responses used to indicate a transmission result of target data: a first response and a second response. An indication manner of the first response is different from an indication manner of the second response. This approach can improve flexibility of a response indication manner. Therefore, the communications system can flexibly adjust indication manners of responses sent at different times to ensure indication precision of the responses while reducing transmission resources of the responses.

Abstract: The application discloses example methods and apparatuses. One example method includes receiving, by a terminal, a power saving signal sent by a network device, wherein the power saving signal is used to indicate statuses of the terminal on N frequency resource units, and N is an integer greater than 1. The terminal then determines the statuses of the terminal on the N frequency resource units based on the power saving signal. By applying the technical solutions, the statuses of the terminal on the plurality of frequency resource units are indicated by using one power saving signal, without the need to correspondingly indicate the statuses of the terminal on the plurality of frequency resource units by using a plurality of power saving signals.
