Abstract: Various embodiments provide a resource allocation method and an apparatus. In those embodiments, a terminal device obtains a first parameter indicating a maximum service data volume to be provided by an access network device for a first service in a first time length; and determines, based on the maximum service data volume, a resource of a media access control protocol data unit MAC PDU, the resource being occupied by buffered data of the first service. In those embodiments, the terminal device determines, based on the maximum service data volume of the first service, the resource of the MAC PDU. Compared with a conventional method, the maximum service data volume of the first service is considered. This helps improve reasonableness of allocating the resource of the MAC PDU to the data of the first service.

Abstract: A resource allocation method, a terminal and an apparatus are provided. Abstract: A bandwidth part processing method and apparatus is provided. The method includes: responsive to expiration of an inactivity timer corresponding to an active first bandwidth part BWP, determining whether a carrier in which the first BWP is located includes a second BWP in an active state; and responsive to determining that the carrier includes the second BWP in the active state, deactivating the first BWP. According to this method, an unnecessary BWP switch procedure can be avoided.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a random access processing method. A random access preamble and uplink data are sent in an initiation phase of a random access procedure, and the random access procedure is ended in time after feedback information for the uplink data is received. According to technical solutions provided in the embodiments of this application, a terminal side device may send the uplink data when sending the random access preamble in the random access procedure. In addition, the random access procedure can be ended in advance after the feedback information for the uplink data is received.

Abstract: A counting method and a communications apparatus are provided. The method includes: determining to retransmit a first protocol layer data packet; and if the retransmission is retransmission for the first time, initializing a retransmission counter associated with the first protocol layer data packet; or if the retransmission is not retransmission for the first time and the first protocol layer data packet is not pending for retransmission, updating the retransmission counter or keeping a value of the retransmission counter unchanged. In this way, RLF can be correctly triggered, to reduce a quantity of times of unnecessary RLF triggering and reduce overheads.

Abstract: A first terminal obtains a first transmission resource that is sent by an access network device and that is used by the first terminal to send data on a sidelink, where the sidelink is a wireless communication link between the first terminal and a second terminal, and the first transmission resource is a resource of an unlicensed spectrum. The first terminal performs a channel access procedure on the unlicensed spectrum. The first terminal sends first information to the access network device when the first terminal determines that a failure occurs in the channel access procedure performed on the unlicensed spectrum, where the first information is used to request to allocate a second transmission resource to the sidelink of the unlicensed spectrum.
