Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for a Secondary Runway Aiming Point (SRAP) procedure of an approach by an ownship that includes identifying at least one aircraft making an approach that satisfy a set of preconditions to pair the aircraft to the ownship in the SRAP procedure; calculating a set of results based on lateral and vertical deviations of a paired SRAP aircraft to the ownship, and differential lateral and vertical rates of the paired SRAP aircraft to the ownship; deriving one or more points from the calculated set of results to determine whether in a flight path of the ownship there is an occurrence of an intrusion into a wake of the paired SRAP aircraft during the approach, and generating graphic data to present on the cockpit display the occurrence of the intrusion in the wake of the flight path of the ownship to the paired SRAP aircraft.

Systems and methods are provided for displaying portions of a route on a coverage map that are non-compliant for a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) navigation system in an aircraft. A route compliance module defines a geodetic reference datum standard based on the GNSS navigation system. A navigation system database has compliance information corresponding to each of a plurality of airports. A flight management system determines the route of the aircraft and a visual display displays the route and the coverage map. The route compliance module identifies a non-compliant region of the coverage map that is not compliant with the geodetic reference datum standard based on the compliance information and adjusts the visual display to differentiate a non-compliant portion of the route extending within the non-compliant region of the coverage map.

A control module receives real-time aircraft state data, flight plan data, and traffic data associated with the traffic aircraft. The control module processes these data and constructs the travel route of the ownship aircraft from the current location to the intended destination The control module generates the trend vector associated with the traffic aircraft, predicts a location of an intersection of the trend vector and the travel route, determines an amount of time it will take for the ownship aircraft to reach the location of the intersection, and generates display commands that cause the display device to generate an alert that visually distinguishes the location on the image based at least in part on the amount of time.

Methods and systems for flight control of a supersonic ownship are provided. The systems utilize sources of weather data, a flight management system (FMS) of the supersonic ownship, and sources of neighbor traffic data. The systems generate a complete neighbor traffic flight trajectory, and then process the complete neighbor traffic flight trajectory with a flight plan of the supersonic ownship, aircraft specific parameters, and forecasted and real-time weather data to generate therefrom a safe sonic altitude for flying the supersonic ownship. The safe sonic altitude is transmitted to air traffic control (ATC) as a request for an assignment. Upon receiving the assignment from ATC, the systems notify the pilot of the assignment and continue monitoring airspace for real-time changes in the flight path trajectory of the neighbor traffic. The sonic altitude is updated based on a detected real-time change in the flight path trajectory of the neighbor traffic.
