摘要： A carton package comprising a plurality of blanks of carton material cut and scored so as to provide one or more tray compartments and a separate lid part. The lid part includes a lid panel having a pair of opposed end edges defined by a pair of opposed parallel free marginal edge portions extending along the top of a pair of opposed ends of the package and a pair of opposed side edges defined by a pair of opposed parallel lid flap panel fold lines integral with a pair of lid flap panels folded downwardly along the lid flap panel fold lines in generally perpendicular relation to the lid panel so as to define substantially the entirety of a pair of opposed sides of the package. The lid panel extends over the open top space provided by the one or more tray compartments which present (1) side wall panels disposed along the pair of opposed package ends having integral flanges extending outwardly from the outer edges thereof and constituting end defining side wall panels and (2) side wall panels extending along the pair of opposed package sides constituting side defining side wall panels. The interior surface of the flanges and the interior surfaces of the lid panel free marginal edge portions are sealed together in pressurized abutting relation with heat activated adhesive therebetween. The exterior surfaces of the side defining side wall panels and the interior surfaces of the lid flap panels are sealed together in contact abutting relation with heat activated adhesive therebetween.

摘要： A carton package comprising a plurality of side-by-side tray compartments suitable to contain consumable contents therein and a lid part enclosing the tray compartments. Each tray compartment includes a bottom wall panel, side wall panels, and leak-tight integral corner connections between adjacent side wall panels. The lid part includes a planar rectangular lid panel defining package top and a pair of lid flap panels integral with the lid panel and folded perpendicular thereto to define substantially the entirety of a pair of opposed package sides. The lid panel extends over the tray compartments in generally closing relation such that a side wall panel of each of two of the tray compartments is disposed along a pair of opposed package ends constituting end defining side wall panels, a number of side wall panels equal to the number of tray compartments extends along each of the pair of opposed package sides constituting side defining side wall panels, and the remaining side wall panels extend between the package sides and constituting interior side wall panels. The end defining side wall panels have integral flanges extending outwardly from the outer edges thereof sealingly adhered to the lid panel. The side defining side wall panels are adhered to the lid flap panels to rigidify the tray compartment connection and provide a substantially smooth exterior surface along the package sides. The lid part has cuts therein to facilitate the manual venting and accessing of each tray compartment space.

摘要： A storage, shipping and dispensing system for loose fill packaging material comprises a collapsible pliant, vented cylindrical bag having an upper and a lower end including a dispensing apertured neck. Rings are circumferentially spaced apart about the bag adjacent both the upper and lower ends. The rings adjacent the upper end are coupled to suspend the bag in a dispensing mode and the rings adjacent the lower end encircle at stiff resilient hoop encompassing and maintaining the lower end of the bag in a radially extended nominal shape. A vertically adjustable support arrangement includes a circular rim having a plurality of spaced-apart hooks to support the rings of the bag. The bag may be readily filled in an inverted position with a large volume, such as in excess of 100 cubic feet, of expanded plastic loose fill material. Despite its size, the filled container may be easily handled during shipping and storage. The dispensing apertured neck may be used at a single packaging station when coupled to a dispensing valve, or coupled to an air conveyor system comprising a blower driven transfer chute for duct feeding loose fill to multiple remote stations.

摘要： A one-piece carton formable into an enclosed container and suited to retain consumable contents therein. The carton blank is cut and scored to include a bottom wall panel, four side wall panels integral with the bottom wall panel along four side fold lines and foldable along the side fold lines to form container sides. Integral connections, which are foldable and sealable to form leak tight sealed integral corners, are provided between adjacent side wall panels. A lid wall panel is integral with a side wall panel and foldable inward toward the bottom wall panel. Cuts in the lid wall panel define a vent access section which can be manually removed from the lid wall panel along a predetermined vent separation path as a result of a manual venting procedure. The vent access section includes a grippable portion extending from an edge of the lid wall panel. Cuts in the lid wall panel also define an eating access section which can be manually separated from the lid wall panel along a predetermined eating access separation path in response to a manual eating access operating procedure. The exposure of the vent access opening also exposes a portion of the eating section communicating therewith which can then be quipped as an initial step in the manual access operating procedure.

摘要： A food package comprising a plurality of separate portions of food and a carton assembly. The carton assembly comprises a plurality of separate open top trays corresponding in number to the number of separate portions of food and a lid structure. The separate relation of the open top trays enabling each of the separate portions of food to be separately disposed within a corresponding separate open top tray. The open top trays are erected from blanks and each includes a bottom surrounded by sides with liquid tight corner constructions and at least one outwardly extending flange. The lid structure includes a top wall panel and two top flaps. The trays, in side by side relation, are covered by the lid structure in an assembled relation and secured therein by adhesive so as to form a food package suitable for convenient transportation and handling. In assembled relation the tray flanges are disposed in side by side relation and adhesively adhered to the top wall panel between the top flaps which are folded down to form exterior sides of the package. The lid structure has cuts formed therein for facilitating the manual movement of at least a portion of the lid structure extending in enclosing relation over the open top of each tray into an open condition with respect to each tray enabling the portion of food in each tray to be heated in an oven and thereafter consumed while in the respective tray.

摘要： A plural compartment carton tray is constructed from a blank. The inner compartments are integrally interconnected and arranged in side-by-side relation to provide the carton blank with an exterior periphery having spaced exterior corners. At least two of the exterior corners having a gusset wall panel integral with adjacent side wall panels along two end fold lines extending in angularly related relation with respect to one another. The side wall panels are folded along the side fold lines in the same direction into an erected position while each of the gusset wall panels is folded along the associated angularly related end fold lines in opposite directions with respect to the associated pair of adjacent side wall panels so as to bring each gusset wall panel into surface-to-surface abutting relation with an end portion of one of the associated pair of adjacent side wall panels defined by one of the associated two end fold lines. An adhesive serves to adhere each gusset wall panel in surface-to-surface abutting relation with the associated one side wall end portion to thereby form a sealed integral corner construction between the adjacent side wall panels.
