Abstract:
A method of an IAB node may comprise: receiving an RRC message including measurement control information from a base station; transmitting RRC reconfiguration information including the measurement control information to each of a plurality of terminals; receiving a measurement report message including a measurement report generated by each of the plurality of terminals based on the measurement control information from each of the plurality of terminals; and grouping the measurement report messages received from the plurality of terminals into a grouped message report message, and transmitting the grouped measurement report message to the base station according to a grouped measurement reporting periodicity.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for transmitting/receiving downlink data for a terminal in an idle state. The terminal receives a paging message from a base station and obtains a Random Access (RA) preamble index corresponding to an identifier of the terminal from the paging message. Then, the terminal transmits an RA preamble corresponding to the RA preamble index to the base station, receives an RA response message from the base station, and obtains downlink resource allocation information from the RA response message. After that, the terminal receives data from the base station based on the downlink resource allocation information.
Abstract:
A wireless terminal selects a first random access preamble in a random access preamble group for a small-sized data transmission (SDT) and transmits the selected first random access preamble to a base station, if a size of a data packet to be transmitted is smaller than a maximum SDT size set for the SDT and receives a random access response message including a first uplink resource from the base station. Further, the wireless terminal transmits the data packet using the first uplink resource without an RRC connection setup with the base station.
Abstract:
A mobile personal base station having a caching function and a method for providing service by the same are disclosed. The mobile personal base station is connected to a service provision server, downloads and stores content, and then broadcasts the availability of the service corresponding to the content to a neighboring terminal. Upon receiving a service request from the neighboring terminal, the mobile personal base station provides the downloaded and stored content to the neighboring terminal.
Abstract:
In a wireless optical communication system, while a mobile station including a wireless optical transmitting/receiving apparatus, i.e., an optical mobile station (OMS), is mounted in a moving object and moves, the mobile station performs handover from a previous optical base station (OBS) to a new OBS. Here, the mobile station may include at least one OMS, and when the mobile station includes two OMSs, soft handover is performed, and when the mobile station includes one OMS, hard handover is performed.
