Abstract:
An IC socket includes a socket body defining a first receiving cavity with a bottom wall, a cover attached pivotally on one end of the socket body and a locking member for locking the cover to the socket body. The IC socket further includes four detachable aligning elements mounted on four corners of the bottom wall. The four aligning elements have a plurality of positioning surfaces adapted for corporately defining a second receiving cavity for snugly accommodating an IC package therein. Different aligning elements with different dimensions can be replaced to mount on the socket body for different IC packages, thus a cost of manufacturing is reduced.
Abstract:
An electrical connector (1) for receiving an IC package includes a socket body (2) with a plurality of contacts (4) therein. A cover (3) is pivotally mounted with respect to the socket body (2) and defines an inner side close to the socket body (2) and an outer side opposite to the socket body (2). A heat sink (5) is provided to be mounted with the cover (3) by a plurality of fasteners (6). The fasteners (6) are inserted into the cover (3) and the heat sink (6) from the inner side of the cover (3).
Abstract:
A food processor comprises a body provided therein with an operating motor, a cutting seat, and an upper cover. The cutting seat is disposed within a space formed above the body and is linked with the operating motor, so that the cutting seat and the operating motor are rotated simultaneously. The upper cover is mounted on an upper end of the body and is provided with an introduced pipe extending downwardly from its surface. The introduced pipe includes a first introduced passageway and a second introduced passageway, which are interconnected with each other. Vegetables, fruit, or other food is introduced into a material inlet of the two passageways and pushed tightly with a material-pushing plunger to render the vegetables, fruit, or other food cut by the cutting seat at a material outlet at the bottom of the introduced pipe.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a six-segment color wheel having a coating thereof and including six color sections, which correspond to different colors respectively including a cyan color section. The spoke white generated from the color wheel comprises the spoke white generated by mixing cyan, and a white color with a predetermined color temperature can be obtained via adjusting coating spectrum on the color wheel and the angle of the color sections.
Abstract:
A projection apparatus including an illumination system, a display device and an imaging system is described. The illumination system includes a light source for providing a light beam and an optical mirror disposed on a transmission path of the light beam. In particular, an angle is existed between the optical mirror and the transmission path, and the visible light is reflected by the optical mirror while the ultraviolet light and infrared light pass through the optical mirror. The display device is disposed on a transmission path of the visible light so as to form an image beam. The imaging system is disposed on a transmission path of the image beam.
Abstract:
This invention is a rewritable near-field optical medium using a zinc oxide nano-structured thin film as the localized near-field interaction layer. This rewritable near-field optical medium is a multilayered body at least comprising: (a) a substrate of transparent material; (b) a first protective and spacer layer formed on one surface of the substrate, which is made of transparent dielectric material; (c) a zinc oxide nano-structured thin film which is capable of causing localized near-field optical interactions; (d) a second protective and spacer layer formed on the localized near-field optical interaction layer, which is also made of transparent dielectric material; (e) a rewritable recording layer; (f) a third protective and spacer layer formed on the rewritable recording layer, which is also made of transparent dielectric material. Ultrahigh density near-field optical recording can be achieved by the localized near-field optical interactions of the zinc oxide nanostructured thin film that is in the near-field region of the rewritable recording layer.
Abstract:
A fluidic oscillator includes an oscillator body having two attachment walls defining an oscillating chamber therebetween, an inlet duct communicatively extended from the oscillating chamber for guiding a flow of fluid entering into the oscillating chamber, an outlet duct communicatively extended from the oscillating chamber for guiding the flow of fluid exiting from the oscillating chamber, a flow splitter provided at the outlet duct to communicate with the oscillating chamber, and two feedback channels communicating with the oscillating chamber. Each of the attachment walls has an upstream portion and a downstream portion integrally extended therefrom as a step shouldering manner to form a modulating shoulder for modulating an oscillation of the flow within the oscillation chamber so as to stabilize the flow of the fluid to pass through the oscillator body.
Abstract:
A femto access point (FAP) for use in a network system and a communication method for the femto access point are provided. A mobile station is wirelessly connected to the FAP. The FAP comprises a storage unit, a sniffer unit, and a process unit. The sniffer unit sniffs a packet of the mobile station. The process unit retrieves an identity (ID) code of the mobile station from the packet and stores the ID code into the storage unit. The process unit further establishes an uplink local area network (LAN) service flow and a downlink LAN service flow of the mobile station. The uplink LAN service flow and the downlink LAN service flow established by the FAP and the mobile station are used to transfer packets within the LAN.
Abstract:
An electrical connector (100) electrically connects a first IC package (800) having a first width and a second IC package (900) having a second width different from the first width. The electrical connector includes an insulative housing (2) defining a number of contact recesses (20), a number of contacts (3) inserted in the contact recesses, a connecting member (4) mounted on the insulative housing, and a number of guiding members (6) assembled to the connecting member for guiding the first IC package in the connecting member at a first state, and detachable from the connecting member for facilitating insertion of the second IC package in the connecting member at a second state.
