Abstract: A display device including a display panel that includes a plurality of micro-LED pixel units arranged in an array, and a light-controlling component disposed on a light exiting side of the display panel. The light-controlling component includes a plurality of light-controlling regions each including at least two sub-regions individually controllable to switch between a transmissive state and a non-transmissive state. The light-controlling regions are arranged such that an orthographic projection of each of the light-controlling regions on the display panel covers a respective one of the micro-LED pixel units.
