    Abstract: A method of memory management for a video game, the method comprising the steps of: loading a first asset into a memory; determining a likelihood of a respective other asset from a plurality of other assets being used within a predetermined period of time from the first asset being loaded into the memory; identifying one or more of the other assets in dependence upon the determined likelihood of a respective other asset; and preloading the one or more identified assets into the memory in response to the first asset being loaded into the memory.

    Abstract: A data processing apparatus comprises receiving circuitry to receive controller input information indicative of one or more user inputs for a controller device comprising one or more user operable input elements, prediction circuitry to predict, for a given user operable input element of the controller device having a sensitivity setting, sensitivity update information for updating the sensitivity setting for the given user operable input element, and update circuitry to update the sensitivity setting for the given user operable input element in dependence on the sensitivity update information to obtain an updated sensitivity setting for the given user operable input element, in which the prediction circuitry is configured to predict the sensitivity update information in dependence on at least some of the controller input information associated with the given user operable input element and a prediction model which is based on previous controller input information for a plurality of users.

    Abstract: System, process, and device configurations are provided for posture position detection and user feedback. A method can include capturing posture position data for the user using at least one imaging device, detecting a change in posture position, and controlling output of a posture position notification to the user in response to the change in posture position. Embodiments can include use of an imaging device on at least one of a display, gaming console, and head mounted gaming unit to capture posture position data. Capturing posture position data can include capturing image data of a reflection of the user for at least one of head position, shoulder position and hand position. Output of posture notifications can include controlling display of a message including a notice to correct user posture, or controlling operation of an electronic game for at least one of slowing game play and restricting game play operation.

    Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for training a control input system involve taking an integral of an output value from a Motion Decision Neural Network for one or more movable joints to generate an integrated output value and comparing the integrated output value to a backlash threshold. A subsequent output value is generated using a machine learning algorithm that includes a sensor value and a previous joint position if the integrated output value does not at least meet the threshold. A position of the one or more movable joints is simulated based on an integral of the subsequent output value; and the Motion Decision Neural Network is trained with the machine learning algorithm based upon at least a result of the simulation of the position of the one or more movable joints.

    Abstract: A robot eye and two different eye tracking systems may be used in tandem to determine the accuracy of eye tracking software that is used as part of one of the eye tracking systems. If inaccurate, the eye tracking software may then be adjusted in response. In various example embodiments, a camera may be used in one of the eye tracking systems to then track movement of the robot eye using the eye tracking software itself. Also in various example embodiments, the other eye tracking system may include components such magnetic sensors, optical sensors like CMOS sensors, and/or lasers for tracking the same movement of the robot eye.
