摘要: A clamping assembly (4) realisably clamps a component, such as a loudspeaker (1) in an aperture (2) in a panel such as a ceiling panel (3). The clamping assembly (4) has a guide (5) for attachment to the component, and a clamping member (13; 13a; 113) slideable within the guide. Rotation of a threaded member (23) causes sliding movement of the clamping member (13; 13a; 113) relative to the guide (5) either in a first direction for clamping the component to the panel or in a second direction for releasing the component from the panel. The guide and the clamping member are co-operatively shaped so that movement of the clamping member in the first direction to achieve clamping rotates the clamping member with respect to the guide from a non-clamping position to a clamping position and movement of the clamping member in the second direction to achieve release rotates the clamping member with respect to the guide from the clamping position to the non-clamping position.

摘要: An end effector assembly for use with an instrument for sealing vessels and cutting vessels includes a pair of opposing first and second jaw members which are movable relative to one another from a first spaced apart position to a second position for grasping tissue therebetween. Each jaw member includes a pair of spaced apart electrically conductive tissue contacting surfaces which each have an insulator disposed therebetween, the conductive surfaces are connected to an electrosurgical energy source. The first jaw member includes an electrically conductive cutting element disposed within the insulator which extends towards the second tissue contacting surface to create a gap therebetween. The cutting element is inactive during the sealing process while the two pairs of electrically conductive surfaces are activated to seal tissue. During the cutting process, the cutting element is energized to a first potential and at least one electrically conductive tissue contacting surface is energized to a different potential to effect a tissue cut through the tissue held between the jaw members along the already formed tissue seal.

摘要: An RDMA enabled I/O adapter and device driver is disclosed. In response to a memory registration that includes a list of physical memory pages backing a virtually contiguous memory region, an entry in a table in the adapter memory is allocated. A variable size data structure to store the physical addresses of the pages is also allocated as follows: if the pages are physically contiguous, the physical page address of the beginning page is stored directly in the table entry and no other allocations are made; otherwise, one small page table is allocated if the addresses will fit in a small page table; otherwise, one large page table is allocated if the addresses will fit in a large page table; otherwise, a page directory is allocated and enough page tables to store the addresses are allocated. The size and number of the small and large page tables is programmable.

摘要: An improved Exhaust Intake Bonnet (EIB) for an Advanced Maritime Emissions Control System (AMECS) includes a shroud carried by a rigid upper frame and a lowerable and raisable rigid lower frame. The upper frame includes a peak with a duct for receiving exhaust gasses captured by the shroud and winches for lowering and raising the lower frame. The shroud is expandable when the lower frame is lowered and collapsible when the lower frame is raised and has a cinchable base. The AMECS is joined to a ship by positioning the EIB over a ship's exhaust stack using a deployment arm. The shroud is then lowered over the stack and then cinched around the stack to provide a soft attachment between the EIB and the ship's stack. Later, the steps are reversed to separate the AMECS from the ship.

摘要: A wireless telecommunications network configuration is audited and repaired. Configuration data is received, representing a current configuration of network elements within the network. The current configuration indicates how network elements are configured within the network or routing and handling communications within the network. Fault and performance data is received representing a current level service quality of the network. The current configuration data is compared to a signature configuration of the network, the signature configuration representing how network elements should be configured within the network such that communications are routed and handled for at least one of optimal performance, disaster recovery, and operation continuity. A determination is made, based on the comparison and the collected fault and performance data, whether repairs are needed to the current configuration of the network. Repair information is provided for the network elements needing repairs based on a determination that repairs are needed.

摘要: An attachment bracket in a vehicle for providing integrated support for one or more security features required by law enforcement agencies. The attachment bracket includes a first part including a horizontal cross member extending across the top of a rear panel of the vehicle body. The structure further includes a second part, connected to the first part, which includes two or more intersecting cross members. The second part is mechanically coupled to the vehicle body inside the vehicle cabin below the second row passenger seat. The structure also includes a third part, connected to the second part, which includes one or more arcuate tubular members extending along the vehicle floor panel from the second part towards the first row of seats. The third part is open at the end towards the first row passenger seats.
