    摘要: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and a method for embodying overlay images using MRLC. The apparatus includes: a data encoder receiving static overlay images, warning overlay images, and continuous dynamic overlay images to perform RLC on each image and padding dummy data to perform MRLC on the padded dummy data and encode the padded dummy data; an address generator generating address indices; a memory the encoded MRLC data; a data decoder accessing the MRLC data of each overlay image; and a microcontroller calculating each RLC data size to obtain the maximum RLC data size and transmit the maximum RLC data size to the data encoder and reading the stored MRLC data and display each overlay image decoded. By this configuration, the low-price microcontroller can maximize the storage efficiency of the memory and implement the fast and easy access, thereby implementing the effective overlay and saving costs.

The apparatus may include: a 2D high pass filter outputting a high frequency element value for the luminance values of pixels of an input image; a weight generating unit generating a weight changed depending on a magnitude of the high frequency element value; a weight applying unit applying the weight to the high frequency element value; and an edge enhancement image generating unit adding, to the luminance values of the pixels of the input image, the high frequency element value to which the weight is applied to thereby output an image of which an edge is enhanced.

    摘要: We describe an apparatus and method for decoding a SECAM chrominance signal. The apparatus may include a band-pass filter to separate the chrominance signal from the composite video baseband signal. A down-mixer down mixes the chrominance signal from a high to a low frequency band to generate two signals having a substantially 90° phase difference. A cloche filter filters the two signals. A differentiator differentiates the cloche filtered signals. A multiplier squares each differentiated signal. An adder sums the squared result while a square root takes the square root of the sum.

    摘要: There is provided an apparatus and method for controlling auto exposure (AE) that is used in digital imaging devices. The apparatus which controls the luminance of an image being outputted from an image sensor by controlling exposure time and analog gain of the image sensor includes: a luminance operation unit operating and outputting a mean luminance of the image outputted from the image sensor; a shutter index determination unit comparing a predetermined target luminance with the mean luminance of the outputted image and determining a shutter index in different manners according to the magnitude of the difference between the target luminance and the mean luminance of the outputted image; and an exposure time/analog gain determination unit generating exposure time and analog gain corresponding to the shutter index determined in the shutter index determination unit and applying the generated exposure time and analog gain to the image sensor. Therefore, the apparatus may be useful to stably reproduce an image with an adequate luminance even when there is a rapid change in brightness of a subject for photography.
