摘要: In a method for configuring a Software Defined Radio (SDR) capable user equipment, the SDR capable user equipment wirelessly loads an SDR program from a radio access network. The SDR capable user equipment executes the loaded SDR program, the SDR program on execution configuring the SDR capable user equipment to support a desired wireless communication technology. The SDR capable user equipment loads the SDR program using a dedicated SDR configuration channel, the dedicated SDR configuration channel being disjoint with any communication channel defined by the desired wireless communication technology. The SDR capable user equipment scans a predetermined frequency spectrum searching a broadcasted beacon. The SDR capable user equipment receives the broadcasted beacon and tunes to the dedicated SDR configuration channel or a subchannel thereof pointed to by a pointer for loading the SDR program.

摘要: A multipath device for processing multipath data traffic includes: a multipath network access interface comprising at least one access interface for receiving multipath data traffic; and a host processor configured to operate at least one multi-connectivity network protocol and a multipath protocol policy manager (MPPM). The multipath network protocol policy depends on feedback from other multi-connectivity network protocols running on the host processor.

摘要: A method for allocating a spectral resource of a radio cell of a mobile communication network to a mobile application includes: establishing, by the mobile application, a wireless connection to an application backend via a radio access point of the radio cell of the mobile communication network; and allocating, by a scheduler of the mobile communication network, the spectral resource of the radio cell to the established wireless connection. An optimization service requested by the scheduler determines a minimum of an overall cost function, the overall cost function summing a plurality of cost values, wherein each cost value is related to a respective mobile application connected to the radio access point. The scheduler allocates the spectral resource depending on the determined minimum of the overall cost function.
