Abstract:
The present invention is systems and methods for trading. In accordance with these systems and methods, a plurality of trader work stations that are connected to a central server may be provided. Through the work stations and central server, the systems and methods may perform participant qualification, instrument creation, bid/offer entry and response, when hit and take, workup, price retention, price improvement, request for market, bid/off restoration, price generation, position conversion, marking to market, and delivery functions.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for configurable trading interfaces that allow a trader to quickly and easily submit trading commands to a trading system are provided. Using these systems and methods, a trader can using various trading interfaces to initiate trading commands, configure various display features and default command settings, and control a level of command entry verification that is provided to protect against inadvertent entry of incorrect trading commands.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for a trading interface with advanced features are provided. Using these systems and methods, a user may create orders, manipulate orders, cancel orders, configure alternative keyboard settings, and/or obtain additional information on transactions. When a user clicks on a bid and/or offer, a dialog box may pop-up, thereby providing the user with multiple options. To enable customization of the keyboard settings to a user's preference, a keyboard settings feature is provided. Users may also be provided with additional information relating to the user's wish to transact.
Abstract:
Fluid-dispensing systems and methods relating thereto are described. A method of dispensing an output fluid stream includes: (i) receiving a temperature setting for a desired temperature of the output fluid stream and a mechanical disturbance for a desired flow rate of the output fluid stream; (ii) converting each of the temperature setting and the mechanical disturbance to a first valve PWM signal and a second valve PWM signal; (iii) conveying the first PWM signal to a first motor and the second PWM signal to a second motor; and (iv) activating the first motor to open the first valve to produce a first fluid flow at a first fluid flow rate and second motor and the first motor to open the second valve to produce a first fluid flow at a first fluid flow rate. The combination of the first fluid flow and the second fluid flow produces the desired output fluid stream.
Abstract:
Techniques for managing shortcut storage are disclosed. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a computer implemented method for managing shortcut storage comprising identifying a shortcut in data storage, determining whether at least one attribute associated with the shortcut meets a specified criteria, modifying the shortcut in the event that the at least one attribute meets the specified criteria.
Abstract:
Techniques for separating downhole fluid from a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation are provided. These techniques may involve a cyclone separator having a housing with an intake for receiving the downhole fluid and at least one outlet, a cyclone section for rotating the downhole fluid, and an isolation plate positioned below the cyclone section. The isolation plate has a plurality of slots along a perimeter thereof positionable adjacent an inner surface of the housing for selectively passing portions of the downhole fluid out of the cyclone section. The cyclone separator further having a catching section for receiving the portions of the downhole fluid passing through the isolation plate for gravitational separation into a plurality of phases therein. The catching section has a plurality of baffles for stopping rotation of the portions of the downhole fluid.
Abstract:
A wellbore tool has an electrochemical sensor for measuring the amount of hydrogen sulphide or thiols in a fluid downhole in a wellbore. The sensor comprises a temperature- and pressure-resistant housing containing a flow path for the fluids. The fluids flow over one side of a gas permeable membrane the other side of the membrane being exposed to a chamber containing at least two electrodes and containing a reaction solution which together with the hydrogen sulphide or thiols create a redox reaction resulting in an electrical current dependent upon the amount of hydrogen sulphide or thiols in the fluid. Measurement is made by passing formation fluid along the flow path and repeatedly applying varying potential to one electrode and measuring the peak current flowing between that electrode and a second electrode.
Abstract:
During an initial scan of a journal inbox, journal reports are modified so that the Internet Message ID in the text body appears as a custom message ID value in a new custom message ID MAPI property created on the journal reports. Further, the message class value of the message class MAPI property on the journal reports is modified to a journal part. During a secondary scan of the journal inbox, related journal parts are grouped together based on the custom message ID value. Also, the message class value is modified to prevent the journal reports from being considered in subsequent initial or secondary scans. One of the journal reports of the group is selected as a master copy. A new custom related journal parts MAPI property is created on the master copy that includes a related journal parts value which is a list of identifiers that can be used to locate the other related journal parts of the group.

During an initial scan of a journal inbox, journal reports are modified so that the Internet Message ID in the text body appears as a custom message ID value in a new custom message ID MAPI property created on the journal reports. Further, the message class value of the message class MAPI property on the journal reports is modified to a journal part. During a secondary scan of the journal inbox, related journal parts are grouped together based on the custom message ID value and message content. Also, the message class value is modified to prevent the journal reports from being considered in subsequent initial or secondary scans. One of the journal reports of each group is selected as a master copy. A new custom related journal parts MAPI property is created on the master copy that includes a related journal parts value which is a list of identifiers that can be used to locate the other related journal parts of the group.
