    Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication selects a recommendation for the need. The apparatus selects the resource to transmit a phase tracking reference signal based on a condition of a communication system. The apparatus performs at least one of transmitting an indication of the selected recommendation for the resource to a second wireless communication device or transmitting at least one of information or a reference signal to the second device to assist the second device in determining the resource. In an aspect, the selection may be made based on receiving a request for a recommendation from the second wireless communication device or the transmitting the at least one of the information or the reference signal are based on a request received.

    Abstract: Prediction based UCI multiplexing priority is described. An apparatus is configured to generate, based on an ML model and a measurement(s) for a first set of RS metrics of a RS, a prediction for a second set of RS metrics of the RS, and to provide an indication of the prediction based on a priority condition for the prediction to a network node. Another apparatus is configured to receive a measurement indication of a measurement(s) for a first set of RS metrics of a RS, wherein the first set of RS metrics associated with a priority condition for a prediction. The apparatus is configured to generate, based on an ML model, the priority condition for the prediction, and/or the measurement indication of the at least one measurement, the prediction for a second set of RS metrics of the RS, and to provide an indication of the prediction to a UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for a user equipment (UE) to be configured to perform beam prediction for one or more unmeasured beams of a set of beams configured for lower-layer triggered mobility (LTM). A UE may receive configuration information from a network entity that configures LTM using predicted beam measurements, and may initiate mobility from a first cell to a second cell based at least in part on the predicted beam measurements. The UE may transmit to the second cell directly to initiate mobility, or may transmit one or more beam reports to the first cell to initiate mobility. A relatively low confidence level of a prediction may trigger transmission of one or more aperiodic on-demand reference signals from a candidate cell. A UE may also transmit a capability indication of UE capabilities related to beam prediction for LTM.
