    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to indicate to a base station a distribution of transmit antennas and receive antennas across a set of antenna panels, and the base station may configure resource sets for reference signal transmissions from the antenna panels based on the indicated distribution. In a first example, the UE may be configured to indicate a respective number of transmit antennas and receive antennas at each antenna panel. In a second example, the UE may be configured to indicate a sum of transmit antennas and a sum of receive antennas across all antenna panels, along with information on how the transmit antennas and receive antennas are distributed. Based on the indication, the base station may configure resource sets for reference signal transmission on sets of ports in resources of the resource sets.

    Abstract: When a user equipment (UE) detects that a beam used to communicate with a base station has failed, the UE may transmit a beam failure recovery message to initiate a beam failure recovery procedure. Furthermore, the beam failure recovery message may include a new beam indication (NBI) to indicate a new beam in a candidate beam set with a measurement that satisfies a threshold. In such cases, the base station may enable communication using the new beam via dynamic signaling (e.g., downlink control information). Otherwise, beam failure recovery is performed using radio resource control signaling, which increases latency. Accordingly, some aspects described herein relate to techniques and apparatuses to report beam information (e.g., a preferred new beam) in a beam failure recovery message in cases where the UE is unable to identify any beam in the candidate beam set with a measurement that satisfies the threshold.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for interference avoidance in full duplex communications. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting, to a network entity, a request to provide a configuration for interference avoidance between a first signal and a second signal, wherein the first signal is scheduled in a same transmission occasion as the second signal is scheduled for reception.     Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select, as a default path loss reference signal (PLRS), a reference signal (RS) resource that corresponds to an active physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state of an active downlink (DL) bandwidth part (BWP) if a control resource set (CORESET) is not provided in the active DL BWP. The UE may receive the default PLRS. In some aspects, the UE may select, as a default spatial relation for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) communication, a spatial relation that corresponds to an active PDSCH TCI state of an active DL BWP if a CORESET is not provided in the active DL BWP.     Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a user equipment (UE)-initiated non-serving cell beam reporting mechanism. In one aspect, a UE may transmit a resource request that requests resources over which to transmit a non-serving cell beam report for a set of beams associated with one or more non-serving cells if the set of beams satisfy a Layer 1 (L1)-based condition. For example, the UE may transmit the resource request depending on whether a beam quality of each of the set of beams or an average beam quality of the set of beams satisfies a quality threshold.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first control message indicating an uplink power control configuration for the UE. The uplink power control configuration may be associated with a power control identifier and a resource set identifier. The UE may receive a second control message that schedules an uplink message for the UE. The second control message may indicate the resource set identifier and the power control identifier for transmission of the uplink message. The UE may determine a transmit power for the uplink message based on a set of power control parameters, the set of power control parameters corresponding to the resource set identifier and the power control identifier. The UE may transmit the uplink message using a resource set associated with the resource set identifier and in accordance with the determined transmit power.
