    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, channel state information (CSI) feedback indicating a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) associated with a spectral efficiency below a minimum MCS index in a spectral efficiency table. The UE may receive, from the base station, a downlink transmission including a number of resource blocks (RBs), wherein the number of RBs is based at least in part on the spectral efficiency associated with the MCS indicated in the CSI feedback.     Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a method, performed by a network node, for selection of uplink control information (UCI) transmission format, comprises determining whether to use a coherent transmission; upon determining to use a coherent transmission, selecting a coherent transmission format for UCI transmission. Upon determining not to use a coherent transmission the method further includes determining whether to use an orthogonal sequence: upon determining to use an orthogonal sequence, the method includes selecting a non-coherent transmission format with an orthogonal sequence for UCI transmission; upon determining not to use an orthogonal sequence, the method includes selecting a non-coherent transmission format with a non-orthogonal sequence for UCI transmission. The method further includes using the selected format for UCI transmission. For example, a base station may send the selected format for UCI transmission to a UE, or a UE may select and use the UCI transmission format.

    Abstract: A base station may transmit a set of CSI-RSs corresponding to a set of ports of a UE and the UE may perform a set of CQI measurements on each port and across each sub-band. The UE may select, for each CSI-RS resource that the UE measures, a set of M worst CQIs and may select a best CSI-RS resource based at least in part on a corresponding set of M worst CQIs for the CSI-RS resource. The UE may report the M worst CQIs for the selected CSI-RS resource. Alternatively, the UE may select, for each CSI-RS resource that the UE measures, a set of M worst CQIs and may select a worst CSI-RS resource. In this way, the UE enables the base station to select a DMRS port and/or an MCS to use for communication.

The UE may transmit, to the base station, at least one bit (e.g., in first stage uplink control information (UCI)) that is based at least in part on combined acknowledgement feedback associated with the two or more messages and that indicates a subset of possible decoding events associated with the two or more messages.     Abstract: Aspects are provided for HARQ feedback and retransmission procedures for cooperative relaying in sidelink networks. A relay attempts to decode sidelink data received from a source for relay to a destination. The relay may combine LLRs for the sidelink data and for a retransmission of the sidelink data. The relay determines a resource of a wireless channel for transmitting feedback to the source in response to the decoding attempt. If decoding is successful, the relay transmits the data to the destination. The destination then attempts to decode the data received from the relay. The destination may combine LLRs for the data and for a retransmission of the data. The destination determines a resource of a wireless channel for transmitting feedback to the relay in response to the decoding attempt. The resources are based on a relay identifier associated with the relay.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for replacing and/or fixing broken uplink repetitions due to segmentation of nominal repetitions into actual repetitions. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes detecting that a configured repetition pattern for uplink transmission to a network entity results in segmentation of at least one nominal repetition into multiple actual repetitions, modifying the configured repetition pattern, based at least in part on the detection, to avoid segmentation of nominal repetitions into multiple actual repetitions, and sending the uplink transmission to the network entity in accordance with the modified repetition pattern.
