    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving signals in a wireless communication system. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a terminal may receive measurement configuration information from a serving cell, identify whether a measurement object (MO) configured in the terminal is an MO corresponding to a synchronization signal block (SSB) to be measured, based on the measurement configuration information, receive at least one SSB measurement time configuration (SMTC) information among SMTC1 information and SMTC3 information, based on a measurement frequency identified through the measurement configuration information and an SSB index configured through subcarrier spacing, when the MO corresponding to the SSB to be measured is configured in the terminal, and perform SSB measurement based on the received SMTC information.

    Abstract: A method performed by a master node supporting a dual connectivity operation in a wireless communication system is provided.     Abstract: The disclosure relates to a communication technique for convergence between an IoT technology and a 5G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rate than a 4G system, and a system thereof. The disclosure may be applied to intelligence services (e.g., smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, healthcare, digital education, retail businesses, security and safety related services, etc.) on the basis of a 5G communication technology and an IoT-related technology. According to an embodiment of the present discourse, a method of a terminal in a communication system may comprise the steps of: receiving, from a base station, at least one segmented radio resource control (RRC) message including a part of an RRC message which has a size larger than a preconfigured size; storing the at least one received segmented RRC message; identifying that a radio link failure (RLF) has occurred with respect to the base station; and discarding the stored segmented RRC message upon the occurrence of the radio link failure.
