    Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques for providing a phase continuity configuration in cross-link interference (CLI) based sensing. For instance, a method for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) may include receiving, at the UE, a phase reporting configuration from a network entity. The method may include generating, at the UE based on the phase reporting configuration, a phase report comprising one or more phase measurements of a cross-link interference (CLI)-based sensing resource. The method may further include transmitting, to the network entity, the phase report comprising the one or more phase measurements of the CLI-based sensing resource.

    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for phase difference based object classification in sensing are described. An apparatus is configured to receive, from a network entity, a sensing configuration. The sensing configuration indicates measurements of a phase or a phase difference for classification of objects in sensing operations. The measurements are associated with a set of sensing entity antennas. The apparatus is configured to sense objects via the set of antennas, perform the measurements, and provide, for the network entity, an indication of the performed measurements of the phase and phase difference. An apparatus is configured to transmit, for a sensing entity, a sensing configuration.     Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a network entity to configure other types of reference signals, such as reference signals configured for communications, for positioning measurements. In one aspect, a network entity, such as an LMF, transmits, to a plurality of base stations, a request for a capability report indicating at least one of whether the plurality of base stations have a capability to formulate an RS for communication as a PRS for a UE positioning session or whether the plurality of base stations have a capability to transmit a PRS dedicated for positioning for the UE positioning session. The network entity receives, from each of the plurality of base stations, the capability report. The network entity selects at least some of the plurality of base stations and a signal pattern configuration for the UE positioning session based on the capability report received from each of the plurality of base stations.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration information for PRS signals transmitted by at least one transmission/reception point (TRP), the PRS configuration information comprising beam information associated with the PRS signals. The method also includes determining a subset of the PRS signals based at least on the beam information associated with the PRS signals. The method also includes monitoring the subset of the PRS signals and not monitoring PRS signals not in the subset. The UE may save power by monitoring the relevant subset of the PRS signals and by not monitoring PRS signals not in the subset. The techniques may be applied to TRPs in a terrestrial network, TRPs a non-terrestrial network, or both.
