Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for providing paging for a remote wireless device to a relay wireless device in a wireless communication system. A cellular base station may receive an indication from a relay wireless device of a relay link between the relay wireless device and a remote wireless device. The cellular base station may provide paging information for the remote wireless device to the relay wireless device based at least in part on the indication of the relay link between the relay wireless device and the remote wireless device.

Abstract: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for a C-V2X capable wireless device configured to operate according to a first sidelink mode where communication resources are allocated by a network and a second sidelink mode where communication resources are autonomously allocated by the wireless device. The wireless device detects a change in a coverage scenario associated with the first sidelink mode; performs resource sensing for the second sidelink mode; and based at least in part on detecting the change in the coverage scenario, transmits first communications using the second sidelink mode, wherein resources for transmitting the first communications are allocated based at least in part on the resource sensing.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform intra-UE co-existence between non-stand-alone (NSA) and stand-alone (SA) mode. The UE may be configured to connect to a first radio access network (RAN) operating according to a first radio access technology (RAT) via a first radio and connect to a second RAN operating according to a second RAT via a second radio. The UE may provide, to the first RAN, configuration information during a radio resource control (RRC) connection procedure. The configuration information may indicate a dual connectivity status of the UE. The dual connectivity status may include indication disabling (enabling) dual connectivity for the UE, working frequencies associated with the second RAN, and/or configurations associated with the second RAN. The UE may receive, from the first RAN, a dual connectivity configuration that may be based on the dual connectivity status of the UE and operate accordingly.
