Abstract: Aspects enable and provide techniques for sidelink communication resource configuration and management. A first user equipment (UE) negotiates with a second UE to select a first communication resource set (ComReSet) from a plurality of ComReSets for sidelink communication. Each of the plurality of ComReSets has a corresponding periodicity of one or more hyper-frames. The first UE communicates with the second UE using the first ComReSet using a frame timing synchronized with the corresponding periodicity of the first ComReSet.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support reduced bandwidth devices and particularly, allocation of more than three orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols in the time domain to a control resource set (CORESET). In a first aspect, a method for wireless communication includes receiving, from a base station at a user equipment (UE), a first message that indicates a CORESET configuration. The CORESET configuration allocates more than three OFDM symbols in the time domain to a CORESET. The method further includes monitoring a set of time and frequency resources to receive a second message from the base station at the UE. The set of time and frequency resources have the CORESET configuration. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

A base station of a wireless communications system may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a configuration message that indicates a transmission time interval (TTI) format for a plurality of TTIs. At least one format for the plurality of TTIs includes uplink resources and downlink resources separated in the frequency domain, which may be an example of a subband full duplex (SBFD) slot. Since the pattern may include some transitions between uplink and downlink resources, one or more gap periods (e.g., time gaps) may be positioned between such resources.

Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication at a receiver. The apparatus is configured to receive a non- coherent signal and determine a first differential of the received non-coherent signal on each of one or more receive antennas for a set of binary vectors to obtain a lower order representation of the non-coherent signal. The apparatus is configured to combine the differentials across antennas, decode the lower order representation of the non-coherent signal based on the first differential of the non-coherent signal and to reconstruct a higher order representation of the non-coherent signal based on the decoded lower order representation of the non-coherent signal.

A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a transmission power for a synchronization signal block (SSB) transmission by a base station, the indicated transmission power different than a default transmission power for SSB transmissions by the base station. The UE may determine a received power with which the SSB transmission is received at the UE. The UE may receive one or more downlink transmissions from the base station based at least in part on the received power for the SSB transmission and a difference between the default transmission power and the indicated transmission power for the SSB transmission.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first system information message including an indication of a resource configuration for a control resource set (CORESET) from a base station. The CORESET may include a common search space for a downlink control information (DCI) message that schedules a second system information message. The UE may identify a set of parameters from multiple sets of parameters for the CORESET based on the indication received in the first system information message and the UE being a first type of UE. The set of parameters may be different from a second set of parameters for the CORESET associated with a second type of UE different from the first type of UE. The UE may receive, in the CORESET according to the identified set of parameters, the DCI message scheduling the second system information message.
