    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring a search space for reverse sidelink communications between one or more sensors/actuators (SAs) and programmable logic controller (PLC) in internet of things (IoT) applications. Particularly, the techniques described herein configure a search space (e.g., subset of all available sub-channels) for reception of sidelink packets (e.g., physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) and physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH)) that may be received at the PLC from the one or more SAs. In some examples, the PLC may monitor the subset of subchannels and decode the sidelink packets received on the subset of subchannels without the need for the PLC to perform blind decoding of all sidelink sub-channels as is currently required in conventional systems. Thus, the disclosed techniques reduce latency and maximize the resource utilization (e.g., by using less processing power and bandwidth) for sidelink communications.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may transmit a polling request to a receiving device in sidelink control information that is associated with a sidelink data transmission. The polling request may be included in a sidelink control information message or in a medium access control layer message. The receiving device may respond to the polling request with an indication of whether there is data available for transmission to the transmitting device at the receiving device. The transmitting device may determine whether to schedule reverse sidelink resources for the receiving device to transmit the available data based on the response to the polling request.

A first wireless device may be configured to receive, from a second wireless device via a sidelink communication link, a sidelink control information (SCI) scheduling an uplink transmission from the first wireless device to the second wireless device.     Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) resource allocation operations. A transmit (TX) user equipment (UE) transmit a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) that indicates an allocated PSSCH resource portion. In a first aspect, the portion includes two non-contiguous subchannels. In a second aspect, the PSCCH indicates a layer or a node of a layer of a resource allocation layer structure. In a third aspect, the PSCCH indicates a subchannel group size for an allocated resource, using a bitmask or a value that corresponds to a subchannel and a group size combination. In a fourth aspect, the TX UE determines the portion based multiple values of subchannel and length combinations, the multiple values determined by disabling one or more combinations of a total number of subchannel and length combination for contiguous allocation, or for contiguous and non-contiguous allocation.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for efficient allocation of feedback resources and transmission of feedback for low latency communications. A first user equipment (UE) may be allocated uplink resources for uplink transmissions having one or more gaps during which a second UE may transmit feedback information to initiate a retransmission within specified time limits to achieve desired quality of service (QoS) targets. The one or more gaps may be provided through a downlink control information message that indicates uplink resources to the first UE based on a first starting transmission symbol and a first length indicator, and a second starting transmission symbol and a second length indicator. The one or more gaps may be additionally or alternatively provided through one or more reserved symbols, and the first UE may skip uplink transmissions in one or more reserved symbols.
