    Abstract: This application provides a communication method, apparatus, and system. The communication method includes: A first access network device (an indoor base station) obtains first information, and then sends the first information to a core network device through a control plane of a next generation (NG) interface or a general packet radio service tunnelling protocol for the user plane (GTP-U) tunnel between the first access network device and the core network device. The first information transmitted on the control plane of the NG interface or the GTP-U tunnel needs to pass through a route of a second access network device (an outdoor base station). According to this method, the indoor base station may perform NG interface-based communication with the core network device via the outdoor base station, to provide a better home network service.

    Abstract: This application provides a method and an apparatus for configuring minimization of drive-tests MDT. The method for configuring MDT includes: A terminal device receives first MDT measurement configuration information and first indication information from a first network device.     Abstract: A measurement information reporting method, a measurement information collection method, and an apparatus are provided, to protect privacy of a terminal when measurement information is reported. The method includes: A network device sends a broadcast message. A terminal receives the broadcast message from the network device, where the broadcast message includes configuration information, the configuration information includes information about a common channel resource, and the common channel resource is used to transmit measurement information. The terminal sends the measurement information to the network device on the common channel resource. In this way, when receiving the measurement information on the common channel resource, the network device does not know a specific terminal that sends the measurement information. Therefore, privacy of the terminal can be protected from being disclosed, and the measurement information can be collected.
