Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate signaling with a network entity, the signaling indicating a first bandwidth size and a second bandwidth size associated with a projection parameter (W1) and a compression parameter (W2), respectively. The second bandwidth size may be less than the first bandwidth size. In some cases, the UE may determine W1 and W2 based on a first machine learning (ML) model and a second ML model, respectively. The UE may project a portion of received channel state information (CSI) associated with the first bandwidth size onto a sub-space defined by W1 and may compress a portion of the projection associated with the second bandwidth size based on W2. The UE may transmit channel state feedback including the projection, the compression of the projection, a compression of W1, a compression of W2, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may send, to a first entity, first information indicating a maximum number of positioning signal transmissions or a maximum power for positioning signal transmissions that the UE can support. The UE may receive, from the first entity, configuration information for changing a positioning mode of the UE to a positioning mode selected from a first positioning mode and a second positioning mode. The UE may perform a positioning operation according to the selected positioning mode. In some aspects, the first positioning mode is a normal positioning mode in which the UE sends UL positioning reference signals to a plurality of TRPS, and the second positioning mode is a UL power-limited mode in which the UE sends UL positioning reference signals to only one or a small number of TRPs.

The process can include receiving a first set of operations supported by one or more machine learning models of a network entity, receiving a first set of parameters associated with the first set of operations, wherein the first set of parameters are supported by the one or more machine learning models of the network entity, selecting a machine learning model for performing a first operation of the first set of operations based on the first set of parameters, detecting a change in at least one of: the first operation, or a parameter associated with the first operation, and transmitting an indication to change the first operation based on the detected change.

Abstract: In a wireless access network, a false base station (FBS) may imitate a legitimate base station by repeating the transmissions of the legitimate base station at a higher power level such that one or more user equipment (UEs) synchronize with the FBS instead of the legitimate base station. The present disclosure provides a UE that detects an FBS. The UE may estimate a time of arrival of different multipath components of a downlink signal corresponding to a physical cell identity. The UE may determine an existence of FBS based on a difference between the times of arrival of two of the different multipath components exceeding a threshold amount of time. The UE may perform a mitigation operation in response to determining the existence of the FBS.

Abstract: Sounding reference signals (SRS) transmitted by a UE, e.g., for positioning or channel estimation, may be configured for one or both of frequency tone level cyclic shift and symbol level code, which, for example, enables multiplexing a greater number of UEs. The frequency tone level cyclic shift is produced by jointly processing a number of symbols with an extended cyclic shift structure. The SRS may be configured using a symbol group level that indicates the number of symbols associated with a cyclic shift structure, and an outer code that indicates a multiplier applied to the SRS at the symbol level, which increases the multiplexing opportunities. The symbol level code may further indicate an extended cyclic shift indicating a linear increase in phase rotation across tones in symbols associated with the symbol group level.

Abstract: A network entity may transmit a configuration for neural network training parameters for wireless communication by the UE, and the UE may train the neural network at the UE based on the configuration received from the network entity. Abstract: Disclosed are techniques to determine a position of a user equipment (UE). In an aspect, the UE receives a plurality of positioning reference signals (PRS) from a plurality of cells. The UE determines a plurality of time of arrivals (TOA) of the plurality of PRSs, and prunes the plurality of TOAs based on the plurality of PRSs. The UE then derives a time difference of arrival (TDOA) vector from the pruned TOAs. The TDOA vector includes multiple TOA related measurements of multiple cells. The UE prunes the TOAs such that the cells represented in the TDOA vector are sufficiently geographically dispersed to determine the position of the UE at least in 2D.

A base station may determine a sounding reference signal transmission power of a user equipment (UE) and may communicate with the UE according to the determined sounding reference signal transmission power. In some examples, the base station may transmit signaling to the UE indicating a switch from a first power control mode to a second power control mode. The UE may transmit, to the base station and in the second power control mode, a power headroom report which the base station may use to estimate the sounding reference signal transmission power. In other examples, the base station may transmit a request for one or more reports that indicate the sounding reference signal transmission power based on the base station operating in a closed-loop power control mode. The UE may transmit the one or more reports to the base station.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for reporting configurations for neural network-based processing at a UE. A network entity may transmit to the UE a CSI configuration that includes one or more parameters for a neural network and one or more reference signals. The UE may measure the one or more reference signals based on the CSI configuration. A CSI may be based on the one or more parameters and the measurement of the one or more reference signals. The UE may report the CSI to the network entity based on output of the neural network.
