Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for managing MPE conditions in over-the-air gradient vector aggregation for federated learning. A UE may receive a federated learning model from a base station for participating in a federated learning procedure with the base station. The UE may update the federated learning model for an iteration of the federated learning procedure based on whether an uplink transmission would cause an MPE threshold to be exceeded. The uplink transmission may have a Tx power level that corresponds to a configured Rx power level at the base station. The UE may drop the uplink transmission if the uplink transmission would cause the MPE threshold to be exceeded.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a federated learning configuration comprising an indication of a power control loop for providing an update associated with a machine learning component, wherein the power control loop facilitates receiving the update at a received power that satisfies a received power condition associated with an over-the-air update aggregation procedure. Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for determining tone patterns for transmission of reference signals. One or more parameters associated with communications with a base station over a time duration, may be determined by a user equipment. The user equipment may determine, based on the one or more parameters, a tone pattern for a reference signal for use in communications with the base station over a future time duration. The user equipment may then transmit the tone pattern to the base station. The user equipment may then receive the reference signal from the base station, over the tone patterns.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to determining channel state information (CSI) on a component carrier. In an example operation, a device determines a mapping between first time-frequency resources corresponding to a first component carrier (CC) and second time-frequency resources corresponding to a second CC using a prediction algorithm. The device receives, from a base station, a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) on the first time-frequency resources corresponding to the first CC and measures first CSI on the first time-frequency resources corresponding to the first CC based on the received CSI-RS. The device further predicts second CSI on the second time-frequency resources corresponding to the second CC based on the measured first CSI using the prediction algorithm. The device then generates a CSI report based on the predicted second CSI and sends the CSI report to the base station.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for wireless communication are provided. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a DCI from a base station, the DCI including an update to a periodically-occurring scheduling, where an absolute time for the update to take effect is specified in an RRC configuration of the DCI. The UE applies the update to the periodically-occurring scheduling for communications of the UE beginning at and following the absolute time. In another aspect, the UE receives at least one downlink communication that updates a plurality of SPS or CG parameters. The UE determines an action time for the update to take effect for each parameter, where the action time is a function of a type of each parameter. The UE applies the update to each parameter for communications of the UE beginning at and following a respective action time.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling from a network node indicating a reference signal (RS) configuration for RS measurements. The RS configuration may indicate a first set of beams, a first periodicity for measuring RSs on the first set of beams, a second set of beams, and a second periodicity for measuring RSs on the second set of beams. The UE may monitor a wireless channel for a first set of RSs communicated via the first set of beams according to the first periodicity and monitor the wireless channel for a second set of RSs communicated via the second set of beams according to the second periodicity. The UE and the network node may dynamically update one or more of the beam sets, periodicities, or both, to perform RS measurements.
