Abstract: The present invention provides a method for increasing face images. The method includes: obtaining a face image, and determining whether the face image belongs to a frontal direction or a side direction; transforming the face image into a feature vector; performing a facial attribute editing algorithm according to the feature vector to generate a first generation vector which is different from the face image in at least one attribute; if the face image belongs to the side direction, performing a facial pose conversion algorithm according to the feature vector to generate a second generation vector which is different from the face image in pose directions; inputting the first generation vector or the second generation vector to a generative adversarial network to output at least one generated face image; and adding the face image and the generated face image into a database.

Abstract: In an example, a method may include obtaining, from a data source, first data including multiple frames each including a human face. The method may include automatically detecting, in each of the multiple frames, one or more facial landmarks and one or more action units (AUs) associated with the human face. The method may also include automatically generating one or more semantic masks based at least on the one or more facial landmarks, the one or more semantic masks individually corresponding to the human face. The method may further include obtaining a facial hyperspace using at least the first data, the one or more AUs, and the semantic masks. The method may also include generating a synthetic image of the human face using a first frame of the multiple frames and one or more AU intensities individually associated with the one or more AUs.

Abstract: A plurality of on-road vehicles moving along streets of a city, while utilizing onboard cameras for autonomous driving functions, are bound to capture, over time, random images of various city objects such as pedestrians, vehicles, building and other structures. Images of a certain city object may be captured by many of the vehicles at various times while passing by that object, thereby resulting in a corpus of imagery data containing various random images and other representations of that certain object. Per each of at least some of the city objects appearing more than once in the corpus of imagery data, appearances are detected and linked, and then analyzed and processed to result in representations and other data sets and types having a better descriptive accuracy in conjunction with the city object. The data sets having a better descriptive accuracy may then be used to reach certain conclusions or facilitate actions.

Abstract: Described is a multiple-camera system and process for detecting, tracking, and re-verifying agents within a materials handling facility. In one implementation, a plurality of feature vectors may be generated for an agent and maintained as an agent model representative of the agent. When the object being tracked as the agent is to be re-verified, feature vectors representative of the object are generated and stored as a probe agent model. Feature vectors of the probe agent model are compared with corresponding feature vectors of candidate agent models for agents located in the materials handling facility. Based on the similarity scores, the agent may be re-verified, it may be determined that identifiers used for objects tracked as representative of the agents have been flipped, and/or to determine that tracking of the object representing the agent has been dropped.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described to dynamically generate metadata for a live media stream. The system determines that a first user on a social media network has started a live media stream. In response, the system identifies a topic of the live media stream based on a frame of the live media stream and identifies another person featured in the frame of the live media stream based on social connections of the first user in the social media network. The system then generates a title for the live media stream based on the identified topic and the identified person, and transmits a notification to a second user that the first user is streaming live, where the notification includes the generated title.
