    摘要： An end protector link for capturing and retaining first and second elongate link pins of a multi-link conveyor chain is provided. The end protector link includes an outer wall defining a protective bearing surface defining a pair of openings for allowing ingress and egress of respective enlarged heads of the first and second link pins, and an inner wall carried in spaced-apart relation to the outer wall and having a pair of retainer apertures generally aligned with respective ones of the pair of openings for capturing and retaining respective enlarged heads of the first and second link pins between facing surfaces of the outer wall and the inner wall. The protective bearing surface of the outer wall is adapted for being engaged by wearing surfaces past which the conveyor moves and thereby protecting the enlarged heads of the link pins from exposure to said wearing surfaces.

    摘要： The invention provides a conveying apparatus including an upstream conveyor, a downstream conveyor oriented perpendicularly to the upstream conveyor to form a butt turn, and a mechanism for transferring conveyed articles from the upstream conveyor to the downstream conveyor. The transfer mechanism includes guide rails that provide a corner to change the direction of travel of the conveyed articles and a transfer assist conveyor for supporting the articles as they travel between the upstream and downstream conveyors. The transfer assist conveyor runs alongside the upstream conveyor and has a cantilevered section that extends over the sprocket location of the downstream conveyor to perform the function of a prior art static transfer plate.

    摘要： A conveyor structure for use where accuracy is desired between succeeding portions of the conveyer and, at the same time, wear is to be minimized. The conveyor comprises a plurality of interconnected links. Each link comprises a body having at least two longitudinally spaced openings. A bushing is resiliently mounted in each opening by a relatively resilient but solid plastic molded in situ between the periphery of the bushing and the opening. The links are interconnected by pins extending through the aligned bushings of succeeding links and the pins engage a rotary element such as a sprocket to produce a driving engagement between the rotary element and the conveyor.
