Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, randomized shifts of a base sequence may be used for transmitting uplink control information. For example, a user equipment (UE) may identify a base sequence of an uplink control message. The UE may also receive signaling that indicates a UE-specific initial shift that may be applied to the base sequence. In some examples, the signaling that indicates the randomized shift may be explicit, implicit, or a combination thereof. After determining one or more shifted sequences based on the UE-specific initial shift, a payload of the uplink control message, and the base sequence, the UE may select a shifted sequence to be transmitted, where the selection is based on a payload of the uplink control message. For example, different shifted sequences may be selected for respective transmissions of scheduling requests, 1-bit acknowledgments (ACKs), 2-bit ACKs, and the like.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may be configured to transmit one or more reference signals to a second wireless device using a first antenna array at the first wireless device and in accordance with a first precoder matrix. The first wireless device may receive, from the second wireless device based on the one or more reference signals, a feedback message indicating an estimated rotational misalignment, an estimated spatial misalignment, or both, between the first antenna array at the first wireless device and a second antenna array at the second wireless device. The first wireless device may then transmit a message to the second wireless device in accordance with a second precoder matrix that is modified relative to the first precoder matrix based at least in part on the estimated rotational misalignment, the estimated spatial misalignment, or both.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may report capabilities pertaining to UE feedback processing, such as a number of simultaneous feedback reports that can be processed and reported by the UE for various types of feedback. For example, UE feedback processing capability may depend on channel state information (CSI) processing units (CPUs) available to the UE for feedback processing operations (e. g., for performing channel measurements, processing feedback, generating a feedback report, etc.). A UE may report feedback processing capability separately for periodic feedback reporting and for aperiodic feedback reporting, for different types of feedback reporting (e. g., for CSI reporting, for beam management reporting, etc.), etc. As such, a UE may more efficiently report capabilities pertaining to UE feedback processing, and a base station may more efficiently configure UE feedback reporting according to UE feedback processing capability.

In certain aspects, the method includes determining, based on a hopping pattern, a first set of frequency resources available for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) within a first portion of a transmission time interval (TTI) and a second set of frequency resources available for transmitting UCI within a second portion of the TTI. The method also includes transmitting the UCI using the determined first set of frequency resources and the second set of frequency resources.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, one or more control messages that indicate a configuration for a first downlink bandwidth part (BWP) associated with a first operating mode of the UE, a second downlink BWP associated with a second operating mode of the UE, a first set of resources within the first downlink BWP, and a second set of resources within the second downlink BWP. The UE may monitor the first set of resources while in the first operating mode, and may monitor the second set of resources while in the second operating mode. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a payload for inclusion in an uplink transmission. The UE may organize the payload into a code block group (CBG) that includes one or more code blocks (CB). The UE may map each CB of the CBG to a corresponding uplink shared channel resource unit (e.g., a physical uplink shared channel resource unit) of an uplink transmission occasion of the first UE. The uplink transmission occasion may also be shared with one or more additional UEs such that the CBG of the first UE is multiplexed with additional CBGs from the additional UEs. The UE may transmit, to a base station, the uplink transmission including each uplink shared channel resource unit on which the CBG is organized.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communication systems configured to provide user equipment (UE)-specific slot structures based on the individual propagation delay experienced by each UE. In some examples, the duration of uplink transmissions for a particular UE within a slot may be configured based on the propagation delay between the base station and that particular UE. For example, the duration of an uplink burst and/or an uplink traffic transmission may be configured based on the propagation delay. In addition, a downlink burst within a slot may be configured for a particular UE on the propagation delay experienced by that UE. Downlink traffic transmissions may further be configured for the cell based on the maximum propagation delay experienced by the UEs in the cell.
